@@naughtyotter5547 I know the original comment is a joke, but in all seriousness I don't think it would be acceptable to submit a 3rd party analysis as proof when there's 1st hand evidence in the form of the original videos that the attorneys, jury and judge can and should analyze themselves.
@@Mick_92 little do they know that Charles is a trained forensics footage analyst with expertise in this field and thus adds new insight that the video alone cannot provide
They can't use Charlie's opinion because they need to establish Charlie's foundation of expertise which he claimed he did not have in the beginning of the video.
Who says black shirt will give the $ to his balls, let alone split it evenly among them? IMO, he’s more likely to give each of them a little commemorative hat and call it good.
This is what I hate about the news, they always play just enough of a video to make things questionable, often cutting out the part that would make it clear as day who is in the right.
Drives engagement, probably a scummy and intentional move. If there's a clear victor, less discussion and drive on the new posts. If the person in right is ambiguous, there will be a lot of clicks and discussion and lot more interest.
@@QuackZack Yerp, then you have people arguing about it back and forth, for even more engagement.. people spend way too much time online, caring way too much about things that have no effect on their lives.
Can you imagine saying to the judge "your honor at min 4:45 red shirt guy reached and was touching my actual ball aka testicles, that is when I told him wrong balls and he released them." 😂 And then make them pay for my lawyer fees for making me lose time lol
I went to a Tigers game with my 70 year old boss earlier this year. I was standing there with my beer in my hand, and he said "You should put that in the cupholder" I was like "LOL what? No I'm good." Not 5 minutes later a foul came right the fuck at me, and with my beer in my right hand, I tried to catch it in my left.... and it bounced right out of my palm. Not a huge deal, just a foul ball from a Tigers game, but I definitely learned a valuable lesson that day; keep both hands open at a baseball game! Also, sometimes older people know shit or whatever.
it’s been determined in various cases that legally the ball is considered fair game for anyone once it leaves the stadium. the dodgers offered 300k but that’s obviously not enough based on the value of the ball
@@kenana5941 Rich people love paying to be a part of drama; like when that banana taped to a wall sold for a bunch of money but then after it rotted and fell on the ground it actually resold for WAY MORE MONEY (someone bought the rotten floor banana, yes) because it got so much news coverage that someone had paid so much money for a rotten banana; so yea a lawsuit makes collectibles MORE valuable for sure, the messier the better
@@tezzla6358 don't forget there are lots of people in the world that don't act and talk exactly like you. i strongly believe michael superbacker is not a bot xd
I hate the people who tackle the people who grab things from games There was a video where i think Koby threw his headband to a fan in the crowd and the fan held it for 5 whole seconds then right behind them this lady reaches over and grabs the headband and tries ripping it from his hand with him still holding on and his friends try holding his arm to keep it then she takes it out of his hand and cheers with it then gives it to her friend sitting next to her
@@Chaka2225 i saw one video of a hockey player gesture and point to a kid behind the glass and he threw a puck over the glass for the kid. The kid grabbed it and then a guy grabbed from his hand and ran off with it. The player then came back and gave the kid another puck. When it’s filmed the companies should do something for compensation cause that is robbery they should force those people to give that stuff back
fr and then you can see him swear and throw his arms like a toddler. Like bruh, what sort of entitled little shit are you? The way he just casually reaches over and tries to yank it out of the guy in the black shirts hands not once but twice is infuriating
@@knox6382 bro though crying was just going to give him 4.5 mill it's actually pretty pathetic taking guy to court knowing he grabbed his balls instead 🤣
Pretty solidly looks like Red Shirt is in the wrong. That being said, people rushing in should not be a thing if that's reserved seating, which it looks like it is. In general, if a ball flies to a seat, someone half a stadium away shouldn't be able to rush, trample over a few toddlers, and then tackle the person it flew to in order to contest the ball. If someone rented the seat there and it flew there, and you grab it, you shouldn't be forced into a mini brawl with people trying to crush your scrotum, and teabag you while you're on your knees, etc. I know it's a hot take, but you shouldn't be assaulted because a ball landed at your seat.
its honestly kinda weird how these home run balls just go to whoever it happens to land on, why wouldnt the batter have rights to his 50th home run ball? isnt that something you'd treasure after retirement?
MLB used to take the balls back from fans without compensation until a fan sued them and won the right for everyone to keep the ball if it goes into the stands. since then teams ALWAYS offer some kind of gift package for the person who caught it.
Ohtani got a 700 million dollar contract this summer. He could easily win the auction if he treasured it as much as whoever the highest bidder ends up being
When I was 7 years old I was at an Atlanta Braves game and they were throwing T-shirts into the stands, one landed near me and I grabbed it, as I was standing up I was pressing it against the floor when a 30+ year old dude grabbed it and took it out from under me, because I was using that hand to stabilize myself I fell all the way down the concrete stands and had to go to the ER for stitches. Still have a scar on my lefty thumb to this day. The guy ended up running away and leaving the park with the T-shirt and we never found him. Pretty disgusting what people will do for the dumbest things at a baseball game, especially when completely wated

I would find it kind of weird if they were entitled to a ball that's in no way theirs. Not only would it seem very narcissistic, but the games are for the fans by design, these players would be nothing without them.
no he's going to be playing a lot more baseball for the next 20 years besides the 50/50 record is 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in one season. He has already hit 225 home runs in his career; he hit his 50th home run a long time ago. They're just balls.
Yeah, I agree. the guy in the black shirt definitely had it first. This kid filing the suit is wasting his time. I don't see anyway this kid could have had it before him in the way everyone is positioned.
It’s that much because that ball was the ball he hit to be the first player to get 50 home runs and 50 stolen bases in one season, that’s why because it’s historical
Guys take out million dollar loans with security in stocks in companies they can't remember the name of, just to play around with. Using the banks for what they were intended for. The sort of guy that own fifty luxury cars, has record sized dinosaur fossils hanging from the wall in their New Zealand doomsday bunker palace and has MJ's original nose on display as a conversation starter for when the Obamas comes to visit.
I know that they used the first clip since it shows the guys' faces better, but the second clip is night and day and easily proves black shirt won fairly

Its not that wierd to me😂 If i knew that ball was worth 4million dollars, id wrestle for it for hours and meaby days if it were possible becourse im going to do hard labor for the next 40-50 years and earn 20-30% of what that ball is worth😂 +im going to die 10-15 years earlier becourse of the hard labor. So yeah embarrasing myself for an moment even if that moment will be on the internet for few years would be worth it.
i never see the ball in the black shirt guys hands until after its pried away from other guy... youre painting in the negative, where you dont see anything.
I disagree with your sentiment, when you said the guy in the black shirt was on top of the ball I think you are wrong on the position of the ball. At 4:15 if you follow the lunged arm and where the guy in the blue shirt at is looking I’m pretty sure the ball is closer to the camera and then rolls or bounces towards black and red shirt. Blue shirts arm and gaze goes out under the chair then he curves back towards them. At that point as it rolled back I’d guess the left hand of red shirt grabs the ball pushing his hand towards black shirts crotch.
Yeah idk about all that. Even if it bounces or rolled or whatever, it would’ve done that all under or behind black shirt. Red shirt was in no position to grab that ball.
bounced out of teal shirt guys hand then landed on table and black shirt swooped in and got it right as it fell off the table and red shirt wanted some testicles. GG.
Thanks Charlie; love your analytical skills in this vid- you would rock as a sports announcer. All the best to you and your team, and thanks for your content. -Fraser
This is why I hate sports. The world is burning around us, lets focus on who actually got a f****** baseball. This is not an attack on Penguinz0. just a general statement on the mass population of Earth.
I feel the same way, honestly. This all seems so silly in my opinion lol. Ohtani is just a regular guy, at the end of the day. Screaming and grabbing at each other for one of his balls is just so stupid. I always cringe and get secondhand embarrassment whenever I see those videos of people ripping the ball out of each other’s hands
People need distractions. Some people use sports, some people use shows, some people use hobbies. Not everyone has to be an activist they're whole life, or even at all for that fact. Besides, If you're getting those expensive outfield seats, you're there to catch home runs and have a good time. Its certainly not for everyone, but thats why they have cheaper seats in different locations for more casual fans. You don't have to feel the same about what relatively harmless things people hold value in. I do agree however that the news blowing it out of proportion is a step into crazy, but it's not a reason to hate sports as much as it's a reason to hate the direction mainstream media has been going.
Right because nowhere else in the world would people try to get their hands on a multimillion dollar item if they were close to grab it or have absurdly expensive sports memorabilia.
Even tho I follow Central division of NPB more, but Shohei comes from Nippon Ham Fighters, I'm not surprised that he's so good. Some amazing players from there, glad to see him getting so much recognition and becoming the best, sad that he left NPB tho.
