Sadly or gladly…..I realized being SUPERmom is not a flex!!! I need help, I want it, I ask for HELP! Letting go of some mindsets, thought patterns, CONTROL, and perfectionism has helped me tremendously! 💛
The unfortunate thing is that we are bombarded with the idea that we even have the ability to be more than human… thus the term super mom or super dad or super employee. We were never intended to be more. We were intended to be human with a reliance on the Lord for MORE! Give yourself grace and enjoy being a mom. No super needed!
8:30 This!!! I read a book that said, if you're determined to be self sufficient, you have to keep your life and goals small enough to manage single handedly to make suree you never need help. This changed my life!
Wow that blew me away and validated me so much. I actually felt bad about how small my life is but it’s what I can manage on my own because I don’t have a lot of friends and family. Thanks for sharing.

Mindsets to get over. - Everyone is in competition - Working harder will lead to better results - feeling of not being good enough. What God has for me is mine...😊 - You don't need to be perfect to get results or greatness. Working smarter not harder - Compartmentalizing my life- prioritizing one area too much that you totally slack in other areas that bleed into each other. - Having more is better Can keep you stuck, because you can't let go, declutter, being able to afford without impacting my life. Rather pay to get exactly what I want - I don't need help - even with the simple things, trying to act like you have it together🙏🏽, not asking for what you deserve, not advocating for yourself in critical areas, no pride.
This really encouraged me to accept myself as I am now, be proud of my accomplishments but keep striving. Rather than feeling negative about where I am now, and think I need to be there before I can expect any of the positive things. Thank you, you always have a good message.
First of all, I am relating with NUMBER 1. My ONLY competition is the person I was YESTERDAY. I am also relating with THE SECOND. I AGREE with the saying I DO WHAT I CAN AND LET GOD DO WHAT I CAN'T DO (NO ONE IS ON THIS EARTH IS PERFECT). Number 3, as someone who has moved to a new place, I am in the process of learning No. 3. As a NEW SUBSCRIBER, this video has come in handy for me. Glad to meet YOU, KRISTY😊
Great list! ❤ I definitely have to keep an eye on myself regarding a sense of competition, asking for help, and settling for less! I really like that idea of what God has for me is mine. Thank you!
"Doing our best and being the best are different" really resonated with me. It's hard not to compare but like you mentioned I have to remind myself that I am killing it!
Good points. Type A too. I rationalize much of it as "leading by example", as opposed to just being driven for ambition sake. Actually, I never expect more of people than I am willing to deliver myself. I set high personal performance standards for myself so that when it is time to ask, I have skin in the game. I am often referred to as "intense", and known to operate with a sense of urgency though 😂. Age is helping me calm down.😅
lol, I totally hear you! Type A leaders can be both easy and difficult to work with bc we clearly outline what and how we want things done and “lead by example” but we have high expectations for others actually mimicking that example 😆
Wow! Your videos are so refreshing! You make me really want to change the way I view things. My limiting beliefs. And you know what? I am going to 😅 thanks to you pretty lady! Know it’s easier said than done but I will keep your videos on repeat until I learn! You’ve got a new subscriber 😊
Awww, thank you! 🥹 I’m so happy you’re here and part of my RU-vid family 🫶🏽 The lessons don’t come easy. Like you said, it’s something you have to keep focusing on growing in. But you recognize the limiting beliefs and that’s such a fantastic start. You’ll get there!
Welcome, friend! I'm so happy you found your way over here. And get it- we can be SOO uncomfortable with advocating for ourselves. It's definitely a muscle that needs to be worked out.
@@kristidoingthings Radiolody Tech. It’s a 3 year AS. It’ll bring me the stability that I beee right now. But I am a little conflicted because I want to do social media. Something similar to what you do. I want to impact women to healing and becoming the best version of themselves so I was thinking communication of psychology is in more alignment but I don’t want to go to school for 4 years. Can you give me some honest feedback. Thank you! 😊
