When I was a kid, my mother told me to never use the word “hate”. Then I watched this show and used it all the time anyway. Robotnik, perfect role model. Hate your enemies! ^_^
R.I.P. Long John Baldry its been 10 years since he passed I will never forget him saying those words that's one of the reason what made Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog a funny cartoon at the time.
Louis Marinucci Also, R.I.P. Deem Bristow, the voice of Dr. Eggman from the old Sonic games from Sonic Adventure to Sonic Advance 3. Did you know Dr. Eggman's speech in Sonic Riders "You think you can beat me?" can be heard when selecting him? That was Deem Bristow's voice. That speech was originally used in Sonic Adventure 2 at the begining of the 2 player battle.
CartoonFanBoy Deem Bristow almost sounded like Long John Baldry and yeah I didn't forget about that version of Eggman I wonder how Mike Pollack would sound as this version of Robotnik?
AlliroG98 Oh my! I have just discovered I have an unfettered hatred of a specific member of the species Animalia Chordata Mammalia Eulipotyphla Erinaceinae europaeus, who goes by the name of Sonic. Yes, that is the full classification of the common hedgehog, of which Sonic was confirmed to belong to in Sonic the Comic.
Sonic has convinced himself that it's all ok when it's not! Tails is in our possession! I'm so happy that I will have to upgrade my fictitious rank by myself!
There was actually a line in an episode of the SatAM series where someone (Bunnie, I think) coughed and asked a sarcastic, "don't you just love all this fresh air?" Sonic's answer was, _"yeah, about as much as I love Robuttnik."_
MAN, and it would work for some Live-Action Movies and shows like in Spider-Man: The New Avenger Venom would say "I Hate that Teenager!", Lex Luthor would say " I Hate that Superman!" and more.
I hate that hedgehog! Kim Possible! You think you're all that, but you're not! Curse you, Perry the Platypus! I'll get you next time, Gadget! Next time!
0:49 I...Hate....That...Hedgehoooog! 1:50 I hate Chili Dogs, and I hate that Hedgehog! 2:27 I hate babies, almost as much as I hate Hedgehogs! 2:40 (muffled) I really hate that Hedgehooooog! 2:44 I hate Seafood, and...Hedgehoooogs! 2:56 I hate that Hedgehog, I hate him, I hate him, I HATE HIM! 3:18 I hate Happy Endings, and i hate that Hedgehog!
"I really hate that hedgehog. I hate him. Hate him. Hate him! Hate! Hate! Hate! Hate!" Those were the exact words that Robotnik's SatAm counterpart said.
In Remembrance to John William "Long John" Baldry the English-Canadian blues singer, musician actor and voice role as Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik (Born: 12 January 1941 - Died: 21 July 2005)
This carries the exact same energy as Doofenshmirtz shouting "Curse you Perry the Platypus!" Edit: Though, since Eggman came first technically it would be more accurate to say that Doofenshmirtz shouting "Curse you Perry the Platypus!" has the same energy as this.
“HATE. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE THAT HEDGEHOG SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR HEDGEHOGS AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. HATE. HATE.”
*I would like to inform you my negative opinion on the spiny mammal of the subfamily Erinaceinae known as the furze-pig a.k.a hedgepig a.k.a hedgehog, there is one hedgehog in particular that i greatly dislike and it is that anthropomorphic one that is of the colour intermediate between green and violet, as of the sky or sea on a sunny day known as blue and the name of said hedgehog is a denoting, relating to, or of the nature of sound or sound waves.*
There were two different Sonic cartoons at the same time. The darker one was on Saturdays. I think I remember Dr. Robotnik saying he hates that hedgehog in the Saturday version, too.
Should see what he's like in the comics. In the Fleetway adaptation he at first wanted to take over the world but after he started losing too many times to Sonic he decided he wants to destroy the world so he couldn't be in it anymore. And in the Archie Adaptation he Roboticized his brother so hard that said person became a mechanical statue.
I imagine that it would be the same as when the Decepticons took Galvatron to the Therapy Planet way back in G1. *Therapist:* Just say whatever comes to mind. *Galvatron:* Kill! Smash! Destroy! *Therapist:* Continue. *Galvatron:* Rend! Mangle! Distort! Only imagine it like this. *Therapist:* Just say whatever comes to mind. *Robotnik:* I hate that hedgehog! *Therapist:* Continue. *Robotnik:* I hate you too!
