Smart on his behalf,Incineroar has been meta for years now and has no sign of his reign coming to an end,if you’re going to be working with someone for that long it’d be a good idea to be friends with them, you get farther that way
Wolfey almost pronouncing Unfezant correctly a couple of times but catching himself each time. Appreciate all the nods to older stuff for long-time Wolfey-enjoyers such as myself. ^_^ On the other hand, hate for number 5 will never be forgiven. Fie!
After hearing it, the Glaceon thing seems more the fault of your opponents making life hell for you that day instead of Glaceon itself. We still love Glaceon in this household, even if it can be kinda hard to use
8:04 see the problem with this is you’re my favorite RU-vidr and you already are talking about how you hate glaceon, which is my favorite 😭😭😭😭
The only good design aspect of unfezant is it's plume making the shape of a loveheart, the males usually having colours to attract mates ..but they executed it badly so know-one can see that and it just makes it look worse than the female imo - sincerely, Cha.Designer
It's a little funny that he said Glaceon has decent bulk, "especially on the special side," but its Defense is actually higher than it's Special Defense 🙃
Sadly, with weaknesses to rock, steel and fighting (among others), having roughly equal defence and special defence can generally be treated as 'better at being physically bulky' (with how those types are all more commonly used on physical a lot of the time)
I hate Bombirdier. I think it’s a perfect example of a sloppy design. the only reason it exists is because they realised they could put the word “bird” in bombardier. Its design is uninspired, it’s intentionally generation filler, and it infuriates me.
24:34 smeargle RUINED darkrais life, and to rub salt in the wound smeargle couldnt learn dark void at all going later generations, and they DIDNT BUFF IT FOR DARKRAI AGAIN
Unfezant has justification for being hated though. Unlike the other Flying/Normal regional birds, Unfezant has terminal Treekoitis. Where as gen 1-3 pokemon at least have the justification of the physical-special split not existing so their movepool doesnt necessarily match their stats, Unfezant is one of the only pokemon AFTER gen 3 with this problem. its a physical attacker, with a special attacker's movepool
The funniest thing about Lycanroc dusk being so bad is that both forms have a signature move. Lycanroc day gets the brand new Accelerock that only it can learn, and Lycanroc dusk gets… Counter I shuckle you not, Counter.
Maybe Smeargle keeps popping up because the idea of it is blatantly unbalanced in a game where every other Pokémon can only have so many different moves
For those of you're wondering it took 15:31 minutes for Inceneror to come up in the video about his least favourite pokemon
I mean, seriously though, why haven’t they. And it’s not like it’s going to break the pair either since they could give Leafeon Chlorophyll in return. Edit: Just checked, it already has it, which makes no Slush Rush even more confusing
@@animatetrioj1507 I mean, is there a problem with having a lightning fast semi-bulky ice type? It's not like it would be broken because it still has a horrible hp stat, and not insane speed, but giving it Slush Rush would let it get off ridiculous Choice Specs Blizzards as long as there's snow. I've worked with it on showdown, and once you do get it to the point where it's out speeding your opponents, it packs a serious punch. But, Specs are preferred. I've tried running Scarf to let it outspeed in singles, and it just doesn't hit hard enough.
@@captaincanterberrystudios6920 and it’s not like it would be dominating competitive either since they’re faster, if not bulky Legendarys or Mythicals to counter Glaceon directly, or Thick Fat to cut Blizzard’s power. It wouldn’t be busted, it would be viable which is what it needs. They changed abilities for other Pokémon, heck even changed what the ability does, but haven’t given Glaceon, for 5 gens, Slush Rush.
Fun fact, Wolfe's videos made me love Smeargle. There's something about that stupid lookin doggo being a war criminal, it brings joy to my chaotic soul. I aspire to be like Smeargle
If it helps, your video where you finally got Glaceon to Nr. 1 by queuing up just when the ladder was reset is still one of my favourites to go back to. The sheer unhinged energy, the "back against the wall" every 30 seconds, the gay-swamp team, it's very entertaining.
I have some Pokemon that I hate. - Decidueye. His design is too overcharged, I understand the concept of being based on an extinct bird, but in My opinion, it's not my thing, the "glasses" looks like he has baggy eyes, and it looks weird to me he uses his wings like a pseudo-try of a bow. - Ribombee. Not a hate entiretely, it just partially. When I face a Ribombee, I try to defeat that Pokémon in one attack, but always have Focus Sash, and then has the chance to use Sticky Web onto my team.
I wouldn’t say I hate any Pokemon. There are Pokemon I don’t want to battle with, and there are the six Pokemon I do want to battle with. But, I’ll still battle with or against any Pokemon.
I played through gen 5 recently during a multi day power outage. The elemental monkeys not only are generic and bad, but almost every trainer has one all the way until the elite 4. Gen 5 diversity was abhorrent and just felt terrible and the monkeys really hammered it home.
Sableye and Liepard are probably in contention for most nerfed Pokémon as well, since they're also Prankster pokémon with access to T-Wave and Swagger, plus they were nerfed by the introduction of fairy types, being weak to them
dont worry sir. i dont hate you for putting liligant on the list. its nice to see it get some recognition. and not them making a more humanoid form for a regional version which made the internet love it more...
Glaceon is my 2nd favourite Pokémon ever behind popplio because I started in gen 7, so seeing a bunch of gen 7 Pokémon as well as lilligant (my 1st shiny in scarlet and violet) and Galceon made me furious
Still watching, but one thing that I liked about this videos compared to others like it, is that you don't try to make your hate for these pokemon seem like objective truths/facts about them that everyone agrees with. These are your personal gripes which makes you feel way more personable and chill and doesn't alienate anyone who actually like these pokemon.
The monkeys were a good shoutout, maybe some of my least favourite Pokémon based purely on aesthetic. Simipour looks so awful it makes me irrationally annoyed when looking at it.
I don’t think I really hate any Pokemon when I think about it. Even competitively it’s more of an annoyance than hate. Unfortunately all my favorites are so bad competitively it’s painful 😭
In my case, my most hated pokémon is Ariados. Not only is it garbage in terms of stats, but I have held a grudge against that bastard ever since a particular cave in X/Y: I wanted to catch a Noibat, and the only place to find it also had Ariados as the only other encounter, albeit with a higher chance of appearing. I spent over an hour trying and failing to find a singular Noibat, being swarmed by Ariados. Its cry still haunts me to this day.
I played only the first three generation of Pokemon plus some rom hacks and I have never played competitively, but you got me invested now in competitive Pokemon, watching regionals and stuff, all because your videos made it interesting and easy to understand for me
Gahhh i'm loving the editing so much of late - it's so well done, send props to your editor from me - I personally dislike Glaceon also mine is purely because I don't like it's design. My most hated pokemon is Manaphy and it stems from playing Pixelmon lmao
I've always felt that unfezant gets unnecessary backlash compared to the other route one birds, but even then, I think the thing that pissed me off about it being here was the pronunciation of the name.
I consider incineroar to be a necessary evil, if you play yugioh then you aware of cards like maxx c and ash blossom. These cards are in every high level players deck and are responsible for keeping the meta in control
There's plenty of bad pokemon out there and you're blaming Glaceon for your own skill issue my guy And I don't mean battling, we all know about that world champ dif. The skill issue I'm talking about was in the decision making on deciding to put the poor guy on the spot like that for a video lol You dug your own grave on that one. Justice for Glaceon
The unfezant mispronounciation erked me more than I thought it would. After reading comments, it seems it was intentional? If so, it's dumb and I hate it. Almost as bad as calling Gyarados "water onyx."
My least favorite pokemon is ammoongus (I don't even care if I pronounced it wrong), because 1: it's fking annoying (spore & rage powder) 2: I think it's absolutely hidious 3: I'm so tired of all the among us jokes
