Great interview, love Anya’s story. Makes you wonder how many people are sitting on a serious talent that’s just the other side of not giving up! 💪🏼

What a powerful interview. I’m a college runner who has been seriously struggling after a successful first marathon to embrace “hard” again. 3 miles feels like a battle some days and I give in when I never used to. THANK YOU ALL FOR THE VULNERABILITY AND ENCOURAGEMENT!!!

I'm not gonna lie, but she's one of the few people that inspire me to take running seriously. She's so relatable, she was an average person (not an athlete meaning) and has accomplished so much by simply putting in the effort and actually enjoying what she was doing.

She must have some kind of genetic advantage though, 2 years to progress to an elite level is really insane !

Imo she’s even less relatable than the typical “elites” because of the speed of her progression. Elites generally run seriously for many more years to get to that level-which is more like what a regular person would have to do even to break 3h. The fact that she did it in such a short time just highlights how *not* average she is.

Anya is such an inspiration. She really makes you feel like you too can achieve anything. Ben, you're so right that we are all just human and we all have our own anxieties and we all get up and do similar things at the end of the day. Great podcast episode, really enjoyed it =D

Great interview! Anya’s story is so interesting and inspiring, and you both did a really good job of delving into some questions that in other interviews they didn’t go into as much depth ❤

Wonderful, grounded woman at the top of her game. What are we capable of if we try? Anya found out! ❤

Anyas story is amazing! I find it awful that she has to endure so much toxicity when folks can’t believe what she has achieved. But then again, I get many toxic comments each week belittling my achievements or telling me I know nothing. Some sad people out there!

I briefly met Anya at the Night of 10,000 Pb's at Highgate, brilliant event btw, and she was soooooo nice and lovely and I got a selfie with her 👍

Anya is so inspiring but she definitely has some natural talent as ive been training hard and still wouldnt be able to hit 4:30 on my first marathon. Was a little bit let down by ben's insistence to focus so much on her weight loss when she clearly wasnt interested in talking about it

Another great episode! I love these podcasts because they have opened the doors for me to see and hear different people's journeys. I definitely would not know or follow half the people I have without you both. Thank you x
