I work for the Utility Company in Houston. Still doing hurricane recovery work so I haven't got to play yet. Living vicariously through your rebuilds lol
No you stick with Army offense! You need to target Power HBs for the FB position and then change then to FB in Position Changes. It CAN be done! You got this C4! ❤
Recruiting and Sim definitely need a couple patches. The amount of times I've basically been a sliver away from signing someone with no one else even have offered them, to only lose out the next week out of no where honestly sucks the life out of me. And Siming makes no sense in this game, I'll blow out Alabama, but then get held to 3 points by UTSA.
I agree… I feel like I can deal with the recruiting tho because it happens like that in real life sometimes, but that sim engine is horrible. It’s like it’s just random, regardless of what the teams are 🤦🏽♂️
So did anyone else make the connection that Army’s hay days were WWII? Yeah, no shit when EVERY fighting age male was either going to West Point or deployed overseas did they dominate 🤣🤣 Funny piece of history. Thanks C4. Always a fan
The hilarious part about McNally, your first 5 star, being from VA Beach is that it's a large navy area so he really could have military ties but betrayed his parents in choosing army over navy.
Some major things to know for anyone that's running a dynasty with anyone with a flexbone team. #1 For the FB put athletic power back's at the spot the blockers for depth. The #2 thing for WR/TE isn't speed its blocking so look for physical or athlete TE's. I also like power OL and avoid pass protection ones.
I agree the sim does need patched. Beat #6 Georgia (not even in the future literally in the 2nd season of my dynasty) and then I lose again 3 under .500 teams. I’m the next 3.. I feel like for the coaching tree as well, the leveling needs to go up to 100 other wise the CEO and program builder are almost useless and you can go elite in one of the main base category and not much at all in the secondary category. I want to be OP (and the Ai can be too) by the time I’m about to get to that 30 mark and my dynasty is about to end. There not much of a reason to go past like 15 seasons because you’ll have your skill tree done, probably one a natty or few, and your 1 school to a 5 star at that point
I have a TON of hours in this game and the AI cheese might actually be worse than Madden's. Super jumping corners, perfect throws that sail past the WR, opposing team scoring 28 in 2 mins.
I've already seen someone play with Army and they struggled with the Triple option it is like game has problems with the offense with the pre release. And they did not use the transfer portal.
This is coming from a Navy vet. It’s only right to do a navy rebuild now. Navy are Army’s daddies in the rivalry at 62-55-7 but with Army winning the last 2, both teams now ranked and undefeated it’s time for navy to go on another 14 year streak of taking Army to the cleaners
@@GrassHoppaHighs Thats hilarious, Western Michigan literally stole a 97 speed wr from me and I was HEATED lmao. I had to change BGs whole scheme and playbook and the players I was recruiting so this rebuild took a min 😂 Got em to a 4 star 88 overall we going to the big ten next year 😂
@@hawkxxii2286 yall stole basically my whole oline I was trying to recruit in year 2 set the program back like 3 years😭 we are up to a 3 star program year 5. BG has been running the Mac in my sim tho yall beat me in the Mac championship last year im hoping to get my vengeance tonight when I hop on😂😂 best of luck to you man
@@hawkxxii2286 also mmg has pretty fire running back rtg series going rn at bowling green if you haven’t checked it out I recommend it. It’s on his meags channel.
This was a very good rebuild but the code built into the game has it out for Army. I look forward to following along with your channel and see which playbooks are the best.
Army is the only team to defeat me in my rebuilds. I don't make content but I play the hell out of the game. I can't win with this team, I can win a bunch of games but get absolutely bodied in the playoffs. I've won the NC with Old Dominion while they were an upper-mid 80s team like 87-88 overall, while I had Army at 93 overall and I barely beat Mid Tenn and lost to Oregon by 34 in the Semis and they were at 89 overall themselves. I could've simmed the game and I likely would've won. I'm 11 years into my franchise and I've never even made the NC game. They're frustrating as hell and I'm about to accept that I can't get it done with those guys.
I know everyone is going to say its cheesy, but give THE Ohio State University a try. Idk if it fits the "rebuild" but I started there as an OC and now I'm looking to branch out as a HC. Its been fun, not too OP either if you supersim half the game
Watching you melt down makes me laugh so hard. I am sorry laughing at you but I do enjoy watching your videos. The Hawaii and Florida were awesome videos.
Love the vids, but him playing qb against Florida that final drive loving it 70 yards rather then scrambling it throwing to the wide open go right in front of him made me laugh
What stage of the season was that at around 16 minutes where you could see each players dev trait just from their player card on the recruiting screen? I've been going into each players individual page from the roster menu and it takes ages - didn't realise it was available there too
I did this as well by starting as the 60 overall RB. Army was the only program that really wanted me so I went there. I, frustratingly, found out that the whole offense runs thru their Fullback so I barely got any touches and I barely evolved. I wasted 2 years there before I transferred to Troy. I had success at Troy but I ended my RTG with like a 75 overall rating all bc Army was a failure. I was so mad.
So I was doing an Army rebuild and selected the Big Apple pipeline that includes New York. However, when I did the recruiting the only states that gave me any pipeline ratings were like Texas and Oklahoma (which were 1 or 2’s) and New York players had no pipeline rating. So of course I missed out on a couple of 4 star athletes from New York in tight races where pipeline could have helped. Can someone explain why this happened and if it’s tied to me being a brand new offensive coordinator or coach?
I have a season with Army as well.. but I have them as an independent and I noticed when it got closer to bowl season they weren’t predicted to go to a bowl game. They are currently 7-1. Can someone please explain ? Do you have to be in a conference to be accepted to a bowl game ?
All the sim stuff needs to be patched from rankings to upsets to award winners it really hurts the immersion and it’s unfortunate bc of how good the rest of the game is
Love the rebuild with college football, but why are you signing such small classes? When you’re rebuilding shouldn’t you want roster turnover? Bringing in atleast 20-25 new recruits
During position changes try sorting the players by positions. I’ve only seen them show up when I did this, or they would automatically go to their main position after that week
Idk y more people aren't talking about how trash the gameplay is. This game is just a faster pace madden. Maybe people will see what it is after the nostalgia wears off.
The fact that you didn’t change playbooks after you got studs like Cruise and Christmas in, is infuriating 😡 I understand that Army is unique but they haven’t been relevant since the 40s all bc everyone wants to run the same Boomer generation playbook to relive the ol’ glory days. If a program is building, it’s realistic that they adapt and evolve everywhere, even with playbooks. Otherwise, you set up your stud recruits for failure by giving them an elementary level playbook that is so easy for other teams to prepare for. I wholeheartedly believe that’s why you didn’t have the success you should’ve had. Take it as you want it. Just my 2 cents.
