Lmao….That’s exactly what happened to me when I bought my Z900RS 500miles from home. A GL1500 zoomed by and I said to myself shit I bought the wrong bike. I ended up getting a Goldwing too. 😂😂😂

Bought my 23 DCT from southern honda as well. I also rode my blue 2013 goldwing up there and traded in on my 23. Roundtrip 19 hrs including doing the deal jusy over a 1000 miles round trip. Very pleased!

Cruiseman- Well...in one 24-hour period, I get to learn about two different folks who purchased a 2024 Honda Goldwing Tour DCT...in White Pearl, at the same dealership, on the same day! WOW!!! Went out for a fuel pump and came home with a new 2024 wrapped around it. Boy am I envious. I'm thinking of holding off for the 2025 50th anniversary edition unless I can get a great deal now. In that last video I started to type, who rides to TN from TX for a fuel pump - your’e getting a new bike - and I canceled the comment. 😂 I was in a local dealership last weekend and I was the only guy sitting on and looking extensively at the most expensive bike in the dealership (24 Tour DCT), and no one came over to talk to me. I may need to call Kyle.

You mentioned "stepping on the foot-peg to mount the bike" I've done that since the 1st day I bought my wing, It just seemed like the natural way to mount the bike and much easier..

Congrats on your step into the future! I took a step into my past over the weekend and spent an enjoyable day riding my 2005, while the 2020 spent the day sitting in the garage. It still amazes me how much better the radio is on the 2005! I'm guessing the 2024 is no improvement over my 2020... Looking forward to more info on the new bike!

Nice bike and presentation. I too like the pearl white. Only problem is the black trunk, cubby, and nose. Looks nice, but you may have more heat buildup in sunny, hot weather. I’m in Florida and my ‘21 has the same accent, and I’ve had some issues. Wish I had stayed with white instead of red.

I would not wait. The odds of a fuel pump failing are very low, even if your bike is in the recall group.

Well done on the new Wing. My dark metal gray '24 DCT is going on 2 weeks in possession. Been spending more time installing mods than riding thus far...but not for long. On another note, I noticed cars and trucks blowing by you on both sides while you meandered down the #2 lane waving your hand around and narrating your vid. The freeway is serious business. Best flow with the traffic or move over.

I noticed the same. Cruiseman has acknowledged his slow driving habits, but driving that slow on the interstate is actually MORE dangerous than driving with the flow of traffic. To be honest, the safest way to travel on the interstate is just 1-2 mph FASTER than the flow of traffic. The last thing you want to do is get stuck in blind spots and staying stagnant around the flow of traffic

That Honda dealership in Tennessee must have the only replacement fuel pumps in the whole country. I am still waiting on the local Honda dealer where I live to receive the fuel pump that goes into my 2018 Wing.

I see you changed out your Ultimate Seat? Will it now fit the 24 model, assume so. How about your trailer hitch? I assume you will need to rewire and install, along with the socal accessories. So we now will relive vicariously through raising the Phoenix again from the ashes. Also Nate some updated maintenance videos. I knew you might trade, as I have not heard of any dealer who had the fuel pump replacements my friend said maybe end of May or Early June. Also you did not mention they replaced it on you 18, and the 24 is not on the list you videoed. Sneaky. LOL. RIDE save brother. 😖

Cruiseman, I'm holding you personally responsible for the fact that I now have a motorcycle payment, lol. Took you advice and contacted Southern Honda Powersports to see just what kind of deal they would give me. Never thinking it would be enough to justify a trip from Washington PA to get it. Needless to say, Mitch at Southern Honda made me a deal I couldn't pass up. Great dealership and great people down there. Been wanting a Wing for about 8 years, before this gen was even made. Now a 2024 Goldwing Tour in Gray and Black sits in my garage next to my 2020 BMW1250GS Adventure. Thanks for the advice. Stay safe and keep the videos coming.

Congrats on the new ride! I have contemplated trading for a newer Wing, but after thinking about it for a while, I realized it just isn't a good idea for me for several reasons. I purchased my 2018 DCT Tour in Jan of '21. I'm currently less than 6 months away from paying off the loan on this bike. I don't want to start another round of bike payments. I also have the bike accessorized the way I want it and I don't want to transfer all of my mods onto a new bike. I also don't like the color choices for the '24 models. Another reason I decided against it is because I don't think Honda has made enough upgrades to the newer models to justify the difference in the trade-in value of my bike compared to the cost of a new one. My bike only has 21K miles and it still looks and performs like a new bike, and I've completed all of the maintenance on this bike myself, so I know it's been done correctly. I'm not concerned one bit about the recall maintenance being done correctly by the Honda service center as the onus is on them to do the job correctly. If it isn't, I will demand they do it until it is done to my satisfaction. I will not accept a job done half ass. Good luck with your new ride, and I thoroughly enjoy your videos...

@@DavidSmith-yl8km Even then I highly doubt the bike will change much...Honda tends to keep each generation for at least a decade before they even think about designing a new generation, and I think that's what it will take for me to move up to a new one...that and they need to go back to offering some decent colors, and offer a model with more chrome. I can't stand the everything blacked out look...

Congrats to your new bike, Cruiseman ! Looks nice with the black accents. I will trade in my 2018 GW, when Honda is coming out with an upgrade in electronics and a nice TFT-Display. That's where they really lack behind. And when I have a new GW sometime, I have to add all the accessories again....OMG
