Growing up, I've always kept myself aware of the symptoms of breast cancer. I was 21 when I saw that my right nipple was retracting inwards. I also felt a lump. Went to the hospital and they did ultrasound and found the shape to be peculiar... It was irregular and not a smooth circle/oval. I was all alone in that room with the doctor, when she said it could possibly be malignant. Imagine being 21 and hearing you could possibly get cancer. I mean, I just finished school back then. Anyway, they expedited my follow-ups for ultrasound and mammogram. They said that normally they wouldn't do mammograms on someone as young as I was due to the breasts being too firm. Good news, the mammogram showed no signs of it being cancerous. But just to make sure, I had a biopsy and surgery to remove the lump. Fortunately, the result came out negative and it was a regular benign tumour. The doctors still didn't know why the lump was irregular in shape tho. The whole experience was scary for me then. Thinking about how my life would be like if I did get cancer. Now I still go for annual breast checkups, so far so good 😊. Go to the doctors if you feel something's not right with your body!!
I had the same lump a few years back when I was in uni, really painful to touch especially when I was sleeping or washing up, went to the doctor because I was scared it was cancer. Turned out it’s a cyst and while it’s not dangerous but the doctor recommended me to remove it because it might develop to be a cancerous one since that lump was growing bigger.
Mmm, guys if feel lump at breasts area, quickly go to hospital and check. Don't assume ANYTHING. This is scary for me. I got friend's family member got tumour at young age. So, do prepared mentally, keep positive and go to hospital with open heart. If cyst then, ok, just get the treatment it's needed. If a tumour present, just follow the MO sop. Don't dilly dally and get depressed before starting anything.
I got lumps on both sides I was 20 years old at the time and they said I needed a bilateral biopsy thanks, God it wasn't cancer but they said I need to keep checking every year. Take care of yourself and go to the doctor if you feel something strange.
Having a lump on your body is scary enough but what’s worse is not having money to get tested in the hospital. My country (Philippines) has a very poor healthcare system. You have to pay for everything and if you ask for help from the government, your condition is already worse before the monetary aid arrives. So if you’re poor here, you will die. That’s our sad reality here.
Jujur penting banget sih pemeriksaan payudara diri sendiri (*SADARI), ketika menemukan hal² yang aneh semacam benjolan segera melakukan pemeriksaan payudara secara klinis (*SADANIS). Jangan menganggap remeh baik perempuan atau laki-laki. Dulu aku pernah kena operasi dan bersyukur benjolannya itu tumor jinak. Nah yang kedua juga sama hanya beda posisi dari kanan sekarang kiri. Yang ketiga masih payudara kiri dan tumor jinak tapi ukuran benjolannya lebih besar. Tak boleh anggap sepele masalah ini.

I have a odd shaped lump size in about 5cmin diameter in my right breast. But the doctor just brushed it off because it did not show up in one ultrasound test they did. Till now, I still have that lump, and sometimes it hurt.
@@pulutinti6315 1st found about that when my nipple suddenly gets bloated and bled. Going to the clinic, the doctor said that I have lump in it. Got referred to specialist hospital but they couldn't find the lump in ultrasound. They said probably just fats accumulated there, since I am a thick lady. After 2 visit to the specialist department, they discharge me. Said no need to come anymore. 🤷🏻♀️
Please,don't stop checking! It's probably nothing but your breast form but don't forget to do the exam every year! Check if something changes! You keep records and let the doctor examine if there is something different!
Lumps form literally anywhere. I got one on my ear lobe that was painful af and I was growing until it stopped and eventually it dissapeared (after yers) and got some on private areas that also hurt like motherfkrs and grow grow and then dissapear… only got surgery for the cyst inside my nose that didn’t let me breathe properly 🙄
I had a cyst in my milk duct and finally had it removed when it started bleeding. My surgeon wanted to keep watching it . I got rid of that surgeon and the cyst. Thank G. it wasn’t cancerous. No more watching and wondering if it turned cancerous.

Women do have cysts and many of them are not dangerous!! It depends on the breast anatomy! That's the reason women should do exams and have a medical history so they can confirm the changes! Also a simple gynecologist isn't a specialist for breast test! So women should visit an expert!!

Not all cysts are cancer,not all things need to be removed!! It's necessary to do a check up every year but stop talking nonsense....

My mom too have it,some of them grow to cancer and some wouldn't cause any problem...if is it as big as a lemon they say it's better to remove... Cuz Eventhough it wouldn't give any problem it will start to give you pain...so it's better to remove
