Because almost any time you do, people take it as weakness and pounce on you. Meaning you're essentially conditioned to never backpedal. People treat self accountability as an admission of guilt and a reason to justify punishment (or doubling down on already existing hostility), rather than something admirable.

@@TheRealXartaX This kind of mentality is *exactly* why self accountability is a rare trait. Nobody is ever gonna treat it as a weakness or pounce on you, this is only a scenario that happens in your head. And even if some asshole does think of it as a weakness, just ignore them. If anything, being able to admit being wrong is seen as a strength, case in point: the entire comment section.

I've only ever seen it treated with respect and a sign of self assurance. The opposite of which is treated as a sign of insecurity and paranoia that nobody will take you seriously if you're wrong once.

I think it's just innately an exceptionally difficult thing for human beings to do. Most egos can't handle it, but Grubby's ability to do it is precisely why he's a champion. He is able to correct mistakes immediately, so he doesn't waste any time going down suboptimal paths. It's an extremely valuable skill to develop.

@@aurorasun-qs1pg nah, I'm good and always was good. I have a wife and a kid now, Stil playing Dota from time to time with friends. It was either going to punk/metal/rock concerts and clubs on the weekend and playing for hours with no end on sight. Living in the country, we most often just hung out at teacher others with a group of 12 to 15 people. All the boys were hardcode gamers. We even got qualified for a national TV show for CS 1.6

League is beat

He took a break from mobas. Recently he just came back. Hes playing dota and hots again in his second channel grubbyplays

He plays dota for the majority of his stream but doesn't post any dota here on this channel, and he is finding it "stressful" to learn league while most of his moba brain is dedicated to dota. He is also addicted to dota so once he feels tired of dota (probably never or at least not anytime soon) he'll go back to league (which wont happen in the case of him still playing dota) so for all intents and purposes he's essentially quit league.

@@moddongle9668 Can't blame a man for getting off League right now. He got into Ranked and got placed far too high up. Queuing ranked repeatedly against seasoned players isn't very fun. I'm not sure why League places new players to play with the top 50% of players rather than the bottom 50%. Repeatedly losing to get to a division that is manageable for one's skill level is just exhausting. I thought the collab videos with Pobelter were really fun, but I can't say I miss the solo League content too much.

@@H25Invicta I didn't really care for his solo content before ranked, but I was looking forward to his ranked journey but he quit just when it was getting good, yeah I think the ranked games made him feel really bad about it and made him think he wasn't made for league. And yeah if he was placed bronze or something I think the outlook would have been better (he could just tank the losses to bronze but its brutal either way), as I assume his dota journey was a bit smoother as he was placed in the bottom rank. He has said though that the only reason he doesn't play league anymore is because its stressful to play while playing dota. I suppose he cant give up dota to learn LoL because he likes dota better than LoL which is fair, he wont admit that he much prefers dota over LoL tho because of "tribalism".
