It looks like the big Bear looking thing is an Fanged Beast like Goss Harag, but we have only to kill the Alpha since we saw in the Trailer the Hunter use the Environment to seperate the smaller Bears from the Leader. Our Character seems to be in an Leader Position for this small Expedition Team, like Fieldteam Leader in World... Not quite an Commander, but still Leader of an Small Team to look for the Parents or something related to the Boy we took with us
Okay so this was my first time seeing this as well and it looks so good i am getting Nemean Lion vibes from the bear lion monster But theres so many amazing things in this trailer i cant list them all Hope im able to play this all with you when its out
That greatsword upper slash to sprint is the extreme style from frontier which happy see more frontier mechanic and also grinding slash and freaking block was peak greatsword Also happy see slinger back as long that clutch claw didn't come back or at least revamp it so not repetitive

im not sure if you know this already so i will share it with you the pack monster is doshaguma rugged terriorial fanged beast exibit an aggrasive dispostion and inhabit a large range sometimes observerd in large packs the frog monster is Chatacabra A large species of amphibians that use the adhesive quality of their saliva to affix stone to their forelimbs in order to power up their attacks and our mount is called a seikret it can carry a second weapon of your choice in its weapon sling the continant is known as the forbidden the windward plains is the first locale we hunt in ps we got a developers said they an other trailer will be showed in the summer game fest next week where they will show a new monster wich might be the flagship for this game
After watching this trailer i was excited, now im even more excited too see new attacks for the weapons, also love the new monsters too they look so sick!
I have a feeling Either One of the Mohran will Return in Wilds, Due to the Desert Themed place and will have a Siege Fight 8:50 I See some Tetranadon in there
They already said that on twitter and official website, but lets go You can have 2 weapons and swap while mouting They add more gimmics, maybe to change the clutchclaw thing 1 now after attack many times the same part, you make a 'scratch' who work like a weak spot 2 lock on target make the fireflight mark that weak spots on monsters 3 attack the weak spot makes you do some critical moves (like that horizontal slash) who do TONS of damage 4 some moves have special interactions, that uppercut work as a counter for that attack, that block make that clash move and things like this
NGL, that also caught me off guard while i was doing something else at school. 😅 This is going to be a very unique Monster Hunter game for all of us to get into! Base of what we see, there's alot to process.
Also, I wonder what type of play style we are getting for Wilds I mean, the Great Sword move set we saw is not the usual Great Sword move, so we're either getting GU hunting style mechanics, World + Frontier new style mix-up, or entirely new Monster Hunter mechanics! Hey, Zorrin! Been a while! I got some info on the new Large Monsters for you! The first is Doshaguma, the Opening Beast. A Fanged Beast with a wrinkled face ideal for the intense sunlight and sandstorms, it is highly aggressive and forms packs with the alpha possessing bright red fur. The second is Chatacabra, the Cloaking Frog. An Amphibian that coats itself with it's ample saliva, packing on rocks and such to protect itself and deal additional damage. Finally, we have Seikrats, which are our Bird Wyvern mounts. Unlike Palamutes, they appear to be mounts only and don't fight. However, this seems to open the way for mounted combat and allows you to switch between two weapons on the fly. The player running with the GS unsheathed was part of the Extreme Style in Frontier, meaning that we may have some form of Switch Skills or Hunting Styles. We also seem to have a Slinger, but it has a function where we can grab ammo from a distance. Hope this helps!

Since I only play monster hunter mainline games this is huge to me. I have only played world and iceborne since launch and after 11,000 hours I'm ready for a new game
I'm still guessing on a returning monster, monoblos as one predicted returning monster and another possibly being Dah'ren Mohran. That's just two on my guesses on returning monsters other than rathian and rathalos.
It feels so different from normal monster hunter in a weird way. And it already feels superior than world/iceborn despite only seeing trailers. excited for wilds version of insect glaive and switch axe!
