Oh boy this had me very nervous! I have never traveled with an instrument worth over $500. I think I would have bought an extra seat for that Cole Clark! 😅 glad you made it through.
It’s not ideal but I e not had an instrument break over the years. The cases always get beat up. Maybe I should have brought some bubble wrap with me..
@@aaronshortmusic someone told me once that you can make a request to the pilot and some of them allow it to be brought up to the cockpit - no idea if its true .. but worth a shot ..
Fortunately for me, I have only had to check my guitar once. It was the old blue Martin case that's fairly indestructible. It still has the "fragile' sticker on it.
