How are you feeling now?

Ugh the shortness of breathe is freaking me out to especially with my anxiety. I’m on day 7 of symptoms and hoping it’s all just normal. The congestion doesn’t make it better

@@yem1122 truthfully, im still having chest pain and pressure. also got super sick again like a couple weeke ago, not sure if its covid related. i recommend getting a chest xray after youve recovered just to be safe!

How are you feeling? Im on day 9 as well and I can’t seem to shake this low grade fever of 99+

@@knockknock8043 Covid hit my entire family really hard within the last few weeks. First my son which is 22 yrs old, he suffered chills, fever, body aches, diarrhea and cough the first 6 days. I tried my best to help him with all that we had. We used medicine, vitamins, fever reducers and home remedies and nothing seemed to help. By day 7 his body could not take it anymore that’s when the shortness of breath started he could not breathe. I called the ambulance and his heart rate was extremely high (224) and his oxygen levels dropped in the 80s. He was diagnosed with Covid pneumonia. He could not walk or barely talk. They keep him for 5 days until he was able to breathe on his on without the nasal cannula. They gave him steroids for his lungs and a few other meds as well. This was the most scariest experience ever. In the midst of all this going on my anxiety was through the roof. But I kept praying and I kept trusting God. Not only did I become ill but my 22 year old daughter( my sons twin sister) was hit with Covid as well. I suffered the same symptoms as my son and I am Diebetic so it was torture. I had a mild fever for 9 days straight. My body was burning and aching, the pain was excruciating. I could not sleep, eat, drink or think straight. I stayed in the prayer position on my knees for several days and I cried out to God for my family and myself. By the 10th day my daughter and I went to the Er and they kept us over night. I was diagnosed with C19 pneumonia, and my daughter only had C19. Going to the hospital was the best thing for us because at first we were hesitant but I just put my trust in God and allowed him to guide the way. They gave us fluids through IV which was much needed due to dehydration and they also gave Azithromycin along with Dexamethasone (lung steroids) and Albuterol for the shortness of breath. After all this I started to feel so much better. It’s day 22 and I’m feeling absolutely amazing. My son is doing great and my daughter is in her healing process as well. Glory be to God🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾. I’m saying all this to say don’t give up God will see you through this, just trust him through it all. Sometimes it gets rough but we serve and awesome God who will not fail us🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾. @@heavenlyheavenly3867 The vaccine really made covid nothing for our family. I'm unhealthy and all 6 of us Got covid in June. Just the sniffles. We all got tested anyway. My doctor said the vaccine is what made the symptoms so exceptionally mild. I'm so glad I got it. Otherwise I'd probably be dead.

@@yem1122 hey, well the heavy chest cold that was from the lung infection is gone.🙌🏽 we attacked it fast with steroids, antibiotics and flu pills with antihistamines. And of course i did home remedies of ginger qnd garlic tea daily and put a hot rag with salt water on my forehead for the sinuses. Now i just have random dry coughs few in between(but bear in mind I have mast cell activation (a rare autoimmune disorder) that affects most organs but mainly problematic in the lungs, tummy and throat/tongue (it gives me unpredictable allergic reactions to random things)...it causes anaphylaxis, angiodemia, bronchospasms and tachycardia when i come in tact with an allergen so the random cough may happen when my luns tighten). It is now the end of week 4...and it made my autoimmune like 10 times worst. Because covid also triggers our mast cells...so its like i got hit by a double whammy. My allergies had improved a bit from diet changes and advoidance since i even react to medications that would help normal autoimmune patients.. so now it put me back at square one, but more worse. I have new food allergies to things i always ate, systemic swelling, ..which is dangerous cause now anything can give me anaphylaxis and i have to be taking steroids that i hate. Oh and now really bad insomnia despite developing covid chronic fatigue. So i feel like there's no life in my body, but cannot sleep. When i try to do basic things like shower, mopping the floors, standing to clean the fridge i feel tired like i just ran track, and out of breath weak legs. Yesterday i had to sit down to cook and even preparing made me out of breath. Its crazy. Since week i probably only got 5 hours of sleep for the entire week and it was not even sound sleep. Like it made me cry at one point cause i live alone and basic things are now difficult. Im still grateful cause i did not have to be here right now, but by the Grace of God I am...and while I am concerned if I'll ever go back to normal...cause i know this will affect me work wise and daily activities. But I'm trusting God that he will give me a full recovery in due time. He is the provider anyway. I did research and found out covid depletes Melatonin, vitamin D and zinc. ..which leads to chronic fatigue syndrome. So now im trying to fix those areas to help go back to normal. Sorry for rambling (it's been a lot). Thanks for asking though 😊 hope you are safe.

@@knockknock8043 I’m a lot better. I went down hell and had got rushed to the hospital and was on oxygen. I had gotten pneumonia but I’m so much better now!

@@asherslife5511 geesh....I’m still congested and can’t taste or smell anything

@@knockknock8043 yea I developed that and pancreatitis so I couldn’t eat for days. But just make sure you stay hydrated! I would keep up with your oxygen level too if you start coughing bad

That would be the same for me. It makes me so angry if I cant taste I dont eat either. I dont see the point.... I'm aware there is one. But yeah makes me so annoyed. Very few Joy's in life dont take my taste away 😂

I am currently in the middle of Covid and i absolutely agree with you on taste and smell. It's absolutely miserable and i also have not wanted to eat but I try to. Food and beverage either has no taste but the things I can taste are terrible and i can't stand it.

Me too. I can taste perfectly fine but I can’t smell at all. I just want to enjoy my food again lol…it’s so frustrating. The congestion seems to never leave

Covid test was negative, it was just a cold. I was skeptical that I could actually catch a cold right now in Covid times but I apparently you can.

I had the same symptom, my nose was always burning before I lost my taste and smell completely

I’m on day 7 of symptoms and my headaches finallllly went away. My main symptom is shortness of breathe plus my congestion ugh I can’t seem to shake it

I feel much better now thank you for your well wishes! They did not give me anything. I was told this was unfortunately a common symptom and that it could take 6 months to feel completely better (although that’s just their best judgement as doctors still don’t know enough about long term effects)

Hi! Yes i got my smell 100% back around day 15. But began getting it back slowly at day 9

@@jaynicetv640 I’m on day 3 and I have chest pains no shortness of breath but I’m trying my best to hold out cause I have asthma and I don’t want anything to go wrong

And also to know when it IS appropriate to go to hospital. Plenty of people died in their homes because they left it too late.

I only went to the hospital because I was having heart palpitations and did find out my heart was inflamed, I'm glad I got it checked out and knew what was happening

@@lexyeckert im so glad you mentioned this. Im getting over covid and my nose is burning as well. I noticed that my smell was coming back after the burning sensation. Glad you're better! Take care!
