What happened at 11:37 is that likely, the game doesn't actually use those physics simulated dice to generate the actual rolls. Instead, it probably generates a roll using good ol' RNG, then manipulate the physical dice to land on the pre generated roll, which is technically a more fair way to do it, but it can look very off if one of the rolled dice needs a major push to reach its predetermined value.
@@okayokey it can be, but if its pure luck then it just feels like entering the lottery, and there are much better ways to provide a challange without cheating.
@@cardghost465 I know it sounds too crazy to be true but Nintendo has tendency to deliberately cheat to make it were the player is basically in a luck factor in winning at higher difficulties of the game

The die is randomly predetermined as soon as you roll. The game then finds the most natural way for the die to land on that number. This is done with each die and the total is added up. That's my theory at least.
It's terrible game design. 90% of the game is luck and when it's basically you vs 3 CPUs, you have a 3/4 chance to lose every minigame and a minimum of a coin flip for any rolloff.

@@mysticalaces8623 realistically, bouncing 5 times without gaining or losing height is physically impossible without manipulating the surface the dice is bouncing off of.
@@mysticalaces8623 did you not watch the video? the die literally just bounces on its corners while barely moving just to land on a one. realistically, dice will bounce more if it is thrown with more energy, but the die in the video kept bouncing even though it really shouldn't be.
I used to not believe luck was a real thing, but then I watched all of poofesures wii party videos and realized its a real thing and he has the worst possible luck a human can have
he did a little flappy thing there at the end to stall the time more- so it crossed out the time spent between him pressing the button and the others pressing it. if that makes sense
@@madladofabrit2439 the problem is that "the flappy thing" flapped for the EXACT amount of time needed to hit 1:20 sec, just like the others. So i dont think he flapped manually, or at least that the game made him hover just a little bit longer to make it a exact match
