I watch people enjoying themselves in party, going out for dinners, making plans...it's not a good feeling to not have a friend circle, I feel lonely sometimes. But other than that it helps me focus more on my career building. No friends==no drama. I read Tagore's poems to keep myself motivated and strong enough to walk alone :)
@Happy Virus just remember that most people out there pretend to have a perfect life. There are very low chances that someone can care about another person. Its better to just accept that and move on. The more we grow up the lesser friends we have. It's true for all. Most people with aims in life donot have time to make friends. So cheer up, you have a goal in life :)
@Happy Virus I can feel ya. I've been preparing for job exams for two years now so I had to cancel a lot of plans with friends to attend my classes. And now my friends donot even call me anymore. I just watch them posting pictures enjoying themselves. But that's ok, one of my teachers said that someday your entire contact list will change as you will earn your own living and meet a lot of important people :) let's work for that day!!

This might be a bit rude and terrible, but to be honest I lost all my emotions toward a living being, and learnt to live my self. My problem is all my mind set and the way I look things is different. My philosophy towards life is diiferent. Thus people look at me wierd. But i am confident that all my philosophies and my decisions are right......... I dont care even if whole world is against me, I am proud of my self to fight single. I felt happy of what i am now. We came alone in this world and we will leave this world alone. In between whomever you meet are temporary. So never get too attached to anyone and always give the space for detachment so that you won't feel bad when someone leaves you
I have been lonely since forever i never had even one good friend in my entire life till date but as an adult now loneliness is killing me. whenever i see those people who used to be my friends but betrayed me enjoying their lives by going out with friends laughing with their friends that literally makes me cry until my eyes and heart hurts. Lucky are those who atleast have one real bestfriend 🙂
Whenever you look at them think about how their lives look behind the stage. A few years ago an old schoolmate of mine moved into an apartment next door with his girlfriend and baby boy. I always thought they were happy due to their social media and how they acted in public. But every week I heard them next door in the evening, throwing things at the wall, insulting each other and, possibly, him hurting her as she asks that "he wanted the boy too". They moved out after a year but a few years later another young couple moved it, same story as above, only much worse when it's the end of the month and it's all about money. So if that is what relationships are like they can keep it.

Whenever I feel lonely by having no friends and being alone I just think of all the people throughout history that did great things but were just as lonely as me. Hey friend..this is quite relatable..maturity is when you realise most friends are there to hear what they want to hear from you and not what is true...many a times I have adviced one of my friends to get over one sided love but he never understands...in simple words most friends are there only to hear the stupid funny gossips which make you look cool or something....I have noticed this that the most unambitious person gets the most number of friends..not saying that keeping a large group of friends is bad but having a small group of friends or no friends sometimes actually let us explore the best version of ourselves

I was at the hospital today getting tests done because I’ve been feeling quite sick for months now. As I’m waiting outside the lady to my left got a phone call, her reply ‘thanks for calling, yes they are doing tests but doctor said xyz’, then the man next to me got a phone call and the same happened ‘all is fine, I only have to take some meds, thanks for asking’. I got zero calls today. Knowing no one cares made me think ‘am I even worthy of getting all these tests done? Am I not wasting doctors time? Maybe I shouldn’t get help at all and simply disappear’. It’s these dark moments that get to me. Otherwise I love and prefer to be alone.
I had friends since I was in elementary and I totally understand why friends in primary school isn't permanent. When I got into highschool I've been into group of friendships also known as "Squads" but I just don't feel the sincerity and I just feel the plasticity and toxicity around us, so I leave. This pandemic, I had these two friends stayed with me for the long time. We talked a lot for the mean time and even shared our thoughts, opinions and rants. I am thankful that I have still these two friends. I hope this would be permanent as a permanent marker.

I had so many friends i used to be the leader of my gang but as a slap of destiny i started losing all of them not even knew what was the reasons but they leaved me and now they do parties, they share instagram stories of each other, their friend circle is going great and they consider themselves as a strong powerful guys. Everybody in my school have their own friend circle but i am alone all the time, I just have no words or i can't explain my situation of class when i always be alone during lunch period or during break time... But one reason i think i've losed them because if you have to fly like an eagle by skimming the sky during rain don't be in the circle of sparrows. And these lines makes me feel motivated all the time, makes me not lose my confidence, and makes me to live like a lion. I have taken the screenshots of all some of the beautiful comments that indicates not only me who is alone.

Personally I have only one true friend and I feel he is more than enough for me both of us are friends when I was 9 yrs old and now I am 21 he is always there for me in any conditions and the worst friends which I've made are in my clg they just call themselves friends but they hurt me. Whenever I am alone or else with my elder sibling or else with my best friend I am happy but whenever I am with my clg friends I get severe headache.

I broke up with my only friend who was a friend of mine for 10 years. I used to help him in every possible way that I can and I was by his side in each and every problem that he faced.. .......I faced intense bullying in school. Rather than being with me by my side he joined the bullies in bullying me 😭😭. I still forgave him back then and 3 years later when I am in trouble he did the same thing that he did 3 years earlier. I broke up with him on 24th February this year. It hurts a lot when the person with whom you stood by in every problem betrays you again and again and again ..... 😭😭😭

I only had one friend, i don't know why she suddenly starts ignoring me and behaving differently like I am nothing to her. It feels like she got friends better than me and now I feeling so fcking depressed and lonely, I don't what to do. Most of the time I'm stuck (edited spelling) between my work (study and other hobbies study) and friends.....some call themselves friends of me from years but never come to help or ask if I'm ok in my sad times but as a responsibility i always ask them call them in their bad times disturbing my work and healthy happy mind it gets distracted and I'm worried for no reason for them even it doesn't affect me I'm stuck between loneliness (without friends) and mental worries problematic headaches with friends so i choose to be lonely
This feeling is always there. Though you can survive alone without a friend, but the need to share your thoughts, your feelings with a reliable , long-lasting friend never fades. @@harshit.5 it all start 3 year before my mother had a major health issue that got into major problem i don't know how that happened father says you are the victim of this and tortured me literally it was the reason i was depressed by this i was in 9th last year my scores were very less marks and before i was topper in my class and next because of this i sat alone in 10 whole year literally no one came to me asked and it was i started feeling like very sad and uncomfortable can't focus on my study i literally wanted to study but when i used to come every day after school my big brother he always trolls he wanted to me you can't do anything and he always scolds this i started to live in my room i don't much react on him or talk everyone loves him i don't have any problem but as brother he should support me he never supported but it's literally 2 weeks remaining for my exams i am trying learn in all these situations my parents are saying if you will pass then you will go college if you not pa ss you will sit in home and they said direct if you will pass also we will not let you to go at popular college instead every parent wish to pass they wish me to fail and they even don't talk with me in home properly how can I improve my studies and mental health in these situations and Literally everyone of my colony says she will fail as always from this past situation i couldn't able to hold it on my mind this half story i explained you

I had this friend for 15years. I’m 25 she is 28 years old now. She constantly lied about stuff, and i never made a big deal out of it. I tried to understand her upbringing and why she was like that. She lied about her house address, been dropping her off for several years at night in a place 20 min away from her real home. When I accidentally found out, I never told her anything. She would lie constantly about everything. But the house thing got me shocked. She would never show me anything of her life, the man she dated, her other friends ( never introduced me to them, while I introduced her to all my social group, and took her with me everywhere I went) once she told me she had chatted with my ex on tinder, and after some time she realized it was him and told him they can’t talk no more. (I’m sure she knew all along since his photos are there and she had met him once with me), I let that go too. One new year eve, we were at a house party and I got really drank, and at some point I fell and had no power to stand or talk or anything, a guy was trying to profit from me, he was touching me ect. One moment she came, and this dude told her that he wanted to kiss me, she said ‘ well go ahead and kiss her then’ . Keep in mind I was on the ground, almost ‘lifeless’. I couldn’t react at all but I heard everything and I was conscious. Luckily two other friends came in, push that guy off me, and send me to the hospital. I will never forget that. Still I justified her behavior, and said to myself that she was also drank. I kept through so much shit with her, just because I knew her from so long and she had a rough childhood ( but so have i). Anytime there was a man in the table, even if She just met him, she would always take the man side. Even if they were arguing with me, ( I’m Kind of cold and protective so I don’t let men easily offend me or talk condescending to me/ also patriarchal society in eastern balkan so it’s kind of a challenge ). But she was a pick me girl. She would also often lie about her age and also mine, she raised mine and lowered hers when people asked us. Anyway fast forward to two months before, we were out and besides 100 trashy scenes and acting horny and all of that, she told me and another friend she was dating someone. And she lied about his age, because I found out later he was much older than she said. Also she became super materialistic. Saying man should always pay and provide for their girlfriend ect. Trying to lecture me. Ect That’s when I called it quit. Also I always used to text her first, since that last time I met her when she lied about the dude’s age, I never texted her again, and I never heard from her again. I guess that was the last bs I got from her . I’m out and done with that friendship

I am an IITian and one girl, my classmate literally used me to the extent that I have lost trust in love, friendship and relationship. I have literally zero friend and now I feel that it's better to have zero friends than getting betrayed by them. Having no friends is important for your own mental peace and from letting yourself getting used and abused.
I have "friends" who talk to me just for school work. Whenever they talk to me it's either something related to study or hw. Even when i try talking to them like general conversations...they show no interest. I want to leave the company of those friends so badly but still i am unable to. I am usually the left out person in everything. I badly want just one person to befriend the real me and not just my work 🙂
