I have no idea what I'm doing - and that's the plan!

Meeting up with my friend I met in New Zealand, this is the start to our trip through the Canadian Rockies. Starting off at Mount Robson Provincial Park, we hiked the Berg Lake Trail with one night of camping. Unlike all past photo trips, I wanted to try something different - go WITHOUT a plan. The opportunity to experience things for the first time was a refreshing experience. In the end, I think it worked out well!

Thanks for virtually taking us along. I've been up in that area few times and would love to go again. I really like the color of the water in those glacial fed lakes and streams.

Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it. Definitely a beautiful place to visit! I can't wait to return to enjoy it a 2nd time around - and to have more familiarity with the area for photographs 😊

Thanks so much Anthony - I'm trying to improve the videos constantly, both in video and content quality! :). This place really is beautiful, I'm so sad I only got 1 night here. Actively trying to find a time to return for longer!

Nice video Kaitlyn! Love this part of the world (only visited once myself!) Came over from your PetaPixel article... and I'd seem some of your stuff here on RU-vid over a year ago - nice to see you back at it!

Thanks so much Richard! Sounds like you need to make a return :). And yes, I was in a bit of a rut/break, but trying to focus more on the vlog in 2019. Feel like I had come across you before, but just sub'ed!

I'm glad you found it insightful! And yes - the glacial water is just... absolutely amazing to see in person! But is it ever COLD!

Yes, there is something magical about glacial water - but I have to say, Lake Pukaki is unreal and unlike anything I've ever seen before. SO BLUE!

So nice to see another video from you. I subscribed a while back for the New Zealand videos but after a September trip, am absolutely in love with the Canadian Rockies. Thanks for taking us along with you.

Thanks Debbie - appreciate it. I'm not sure exact frequency, but certainly hoping to put out more videos in 2019! I'm glad you had a great time in the Rockies - what was your highlight?

Too many to chose from - Moraine Lake was obviously beautiful & day hikes off the stunning Icefields Parkway turned out to be favorites.

Oh yes, Moraine is beautiful, and the icefields parkway is something special - so much right off that beautiful highway!

Very well done! I enjoy your content! Thanks for sharing! What do you shoot your vlog/videos with? Do you always use mic or just use mic with the video recorder (meaning the camera you use to record video)?
