I’ve learned from following cosmetic chemists online that the packaging is really important to how well the product lasts (especially with active ingredients and SPF) so I’ve decided to just not get stressed out about whether materials can be recycled. Ideally I just want them to focus on reducing waste in manufacturing and choose materials that have fewer impacts on the production side.
I haven't tried the Rhode Toner so they could be completely different products, but every time someone describes it, it reminds me of the Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Toner.
I saw one of your comments before about using the Gleanser EVERYWHERE & I finally bought it. It's been fkn phenomenal!! I can't believe what a huge bottle you get, how little you need, & that a cleanser could be so insanely hydrating. Thank you for backing up the recommendation!!
@ZijnShayatanica Glad you're enjoying it! At the price, even if one didn't care for it as a face or body cleanser, one could use it as hand soap and it would likely last a fairly long time.
The Sunday Riley eye cream is also in that iNN Beauty AHA packaging. 💜 I also want the same things out of my eye cream! I don’t always use eye cream bc like does it even work lol? 🤔 My favorite packaging overall is an airless pump squeeze tube! My current favorite sunscreen is in it, but it’s only like 50mL 😭 I go through phases with my skincare, switching from K-beauty to Western products. I’m in my K-beauty skincare time 🇰🇷 I’ve been nostalgic and missing my culture lately, so even seeing a few Korean words every time I do my skincare makes me really happy 😊💕
Luckily you can also use normal ultrasound gel with microcurrent devices, so it’s possible to find really affordable gel replacements if the ziip gel is too pricey.
You can use any conductive gel with those things (I have a NuFace), you don't need to buy their brand. Just the cheapo stuff they use for ultrasounds is fine. Lisa Eldridge uses straight-up aloe vera, which I don't think is really advised, but hey it works for her and is extremely affordable.

Thank you for this video! I am an oily girl, and over the last few years, I've noticed that K beauty skincare products are better suited to my skincare needs, which are to manage my oily skin, exfoliation, anti-aging, redness, & sun care. Additionally, in the last few months, I have become sensitive to a lot of products. Prior to this, like you, my skin was super resilient & could handle just about anything. I've noticed that none of the K beauty products I have in my stash or on my current use shelf irritate me in my current state, whereas my "Western" brand products are hit & miss (mostly misses...). Going forward, I don't see a need to continue to buy non-K beauty skincare. It's affordable, effective, & transparent about their ingredients. 1st step k beauty cleaners I love are ones from Anua, SKIN1004, Round Lab, ma:nyo, Banila, & Dr G. ❤
I use Astroglide, lolol. The glycerin really gives a good amount of slip & doesn't have a lot of other ingredients that could clog up the razor - I have a lot of hair, so that's already an issue, lol
I use my eye cream on my lips, too!! I ran out of my eye cream, so I've been using my CeraVe daily moisturizer in lieu of it... I'm not sure if it's placebo effect or if eye cream IS actually better?? But I miss it nonetheless, lol
Your skin looks amazing. Hado Labo cleansing oil is great, no eye blur, removes the makeup well. I like anything that doesn't smell strong or make my skin feel tight and dry for 2nd cleanse (The Oridnary Squalane is fine). At the high end, Lisa Eldridge has an amazing cleanser that does it all in one & you can use non electric tools with it. Her wash cloths are heaven. For electric face tools, check out Angie Hot & Flashy before you spend serious money. For toner, Dr Cerecule Kombucha is so nice that I don't even care if it's effective. just feels so right any season or time of day. Rephr Light Hydration creme is pretty nice, a gel. I'm going to check out the Inn Beauty ones you mentioned. I didn't hear you mention sunscreen, did I miss that part?
I LOVE the Kose Softymo Speedy cleansing oil and get 620ml of product for $30. I have consistently repurchased this oil for years. Worth a try if you use a lot of oil.
@@hautemesstom I get that! I have combination skin and I feel like it’s moisturizing enough for me to use as a moisturizer and it’s good as a primer. So I end up not using a serum, moisturizer or primer and use just that so it’s worth it for me. I find a little goes a long way with it!
