I can’t quite fathom that today is the day I really, actually, properly get to say I’ve done it. This is really happening.
I am so delighted and mildly confused to say that back in September, I signed a ⭐️ two book deal ⭐️ with Pan Macmillan. My first book, which I’ve been writing in between everything else for about two and a half years like some kind of secretive, obsessive word squirrel, is Rewitched. It’s a nostalgic, witchy story about grabbing onto the fading power of potential, and the magic of love in all its forms. Rewitched is now available to pre-order, and I would be terrified but literally overjoyed if you’d like to read her.
It’s no secret that books are my true happy place, and the dream of being an author one day is something that has driven every decision I’ve made since I could pick up a pen. The fact that it’s this silly little cosy, autumnal story about self-belief and rediscovering your own magic which has got me there just… well, it makes so much sense. I can’t wait for you to meet Belle Blackthorn and the rest of her ludicrous, lovely gang, because they’re definitely the friends I’ve spent the most time with since I started writing it. Rewitched is released on September 19th of this year, so all that’s left to say is… cosy, spooky, witchy girls ASSEMBLE 🎃
