Sharon Osbourne is best known for being a feisty television personality, music manager, author and wife to heavy metal singer-songwriter Ozzy Osbourne. She came to prominence on ‘The Osbournes’, a reality show that aired on MTV, which followed the ups and downs of her family’s daily life. She is also known for being a judge on talent shows ‘X Factor’ where she mentored our very own Brenda. Today, Sharon will be telling us about teaming up with Jane Moore for her new tell-all West End show ‘Cut the C**p’. Sharon will also be giving us an update on Ozzy’s health following his Parkinson’s diagnosis, revealing why she chose to use the controversial Ozempic weight loss injections, and how she feels about being on ‘the last chapter’ of her life.

Yeh that's a shame about the clapping thing but I think that's more due to being used to American audiences. I think Conan o Brien's interview with Patrick Kielty was similar. He said something like 'the Irish people are great and they didn't applaud lol. I don't think Ozempic aged her at all, she just looks very thin. She has plastic surgery and she doesn't look like a typical 71 year old so she does look good for her age.

You would think that by 71 years old you would have some acceptance of yourself and aging. There is no wisdom in trying so desperately to look young that it takes over your life. I wish her well but she looks terribly unwell and stuck in an idea of herself… of how she should look… I think it has backfired somewhat .🙁

I am 68. My profile picture is 3 years old from my 65th birthday. As an older woman, I look at Sharon and see that she needs to gain about 30 pounds. We need a little meat on our bones as we age, in case of illness, if we are too skinny, it doesn't give us enough energy to fight illness off. Grateful to have a little extra 20 pounds on me.....just in case😉

Agreed, I always feel like when people start losing weight and appetite etc at an older age it's a very treacherous time - you get sick or fall it could be devastating (just from our bones not being what they used to be)

I think we are going to see disasterous health consequences. Here in 🇺🇲, the average time for a drug to go through clinical trials all the way to approval by the FDA is 10 years. Ozempic HAS been FDA approved for diabetes treatment, but NOT for weight loss.

My grandma is 74 and looks at least 10 years younger than Sharon. Aging is a blessing and not something shameful at all, however when such extreme and dangerous weight loss makes you look so frail and elderly, it can be a negative thing. It should warn people off taking medications just to be as slim as possible.

absolutely it definitely used to be called an eating disorder. But now I've seen so many you tube influencers calling it "long term fasting". Some believe it helps you live longer. Poor Sharon looks the opposite of healthy right now. I hope she comes out of this okay. I love her.

As I age, I’ve actually increased my eating this last year to have at least a healthy snack or meal every 4 hours. I may be 15 lbs more than when I was 30, and even 50, but I have to eat to keep energized and healthy. It’s a choice. I think 40 years of size 8-10 is sufficient. 😊🌺

No it doesn’t. People who eat too hypocalorically while on Ozempic will lose muscle mass. Ozempic itself does not cause this. If you take ozempic and eat higher protein, strength train and only have modest deficit…then you will minimize muscle loss. People need to educate themselves. People go on ozempic and because the appetite suppression is so powerful they decide to only eat 500-700 calories a day. That will of course cause muscle loss…even without ozempic. Ozempic can help you stick to a deficit but just don’t create a large one. Problem solved.

I'm not in her age group (early 40s) but I do really like that Osbournes podcast. I wasn't a fan of the TV show but I was maybe 18 when it came out. I do like the podcast, though. Nice to see how they interact with each other.

It’s the ozempic that’s made her face like that, she’s lost muscle mass it’s not a facelift this time although she’s had them before. This is severe weight loss and without her fame no doctor would prescribe ozempic for weight loss in a woman that wasn’t obese. Fame and money allows this to happen. God bless sharing though she’s a legend ❤

Older women cannot be so thin. The face looks too skeletor-like! 😮 My neighbor got on the “Ozempic trend” and lost her good looks. She is old and now looks even older, only quite scary looking in the face. Why so thin at a certain age? It’s not like they’re going to be modeling bikinis.

Good lord the comments on here. Shes 71 give her a break. She looks freaking amazing for 71 even with plastic surgery. Usually plastic surgery makes people look weird at her age. Just because someone is in the public eye, does not mean they're asking for negative attention. That's a sick mindset made up by sick people. Looks don't matter. Having worked with elderly since I was very young, the one thing that's unanimous is that they wish they hadn't focused so much on money and looks, but family and health. We will all make mistakes in life and we'll all get older (unless your time is sooner than expected). None of this matters! Just enjoy life and be a good person. Don't fill your memories with hatred and regret.

Its her life and her choices. No disrespect. I will say that she looks too thin and i can barely recognize her from her original face. I will never understand why people are so overworked about their face and growing old. It's all part of life just grow old gracefully with what God gave you. My mother is 91 in a good health. She's always eating well and taking care of herself and she looks a lot younger. Never any face work and she just looks lovely so that's my 2 cents. I really think a lot of it has to do what happiness. If you are happy and healthy I don't see why you want to make any changes. If you wake up everyday with no serious illness and no terrible diagnosis and you feel healthy then cherish The day.
