The 2CH version is cheaper if you are not interested about rear recording. There are more expensive dashcam than Viofo and their performance is lower than Viofo. Viofo has a good value for money. You can go much cheaper with potato dashcams but you will never read car license plates at night.
Hmm, this looks to be either edited or using some kind of ANPR, although I would strongly lean towards edited... Sorry HDR2You, please feel free to prove me wrong as I'm looking for a dashcam and would be interested in the legitimacy of your claims here.
While this video is of course edited, there is no cheating. As is said in the video, you can take a look at the original video straight from the dashcam, download link in the description, so that you don't even have RU-vid re-encoding it.
Nigel is correct. MTZ (HDR2You) is the real deal. Viofo is sending me two of the 2K telephoto cameras, (front & rear) for test & review. I’ll be uploading lots of unedited raw footage on my 2nd RU-vid channel, and the DashCamTalk forum. -Chuck
