In this American Rifleman TV segment of "I Have This Old Gun," we take a look at the forgotten relative of the AR-15. the stamped sheet-metal-constructed AR-18 ArmaLite Combat Rifle.
South Korea and Japan use guns that have AR-18 descent k2 assault rifle and the Type 89 assault rifle are the closest I think those 2 assault rifles are very good for South Korea and Japan
The AR 14 actually existed, but I don't think it ever popular, and I'm sure Joe Biden has never seen or even heard about one. It was supposedly a .243 .308 or .358 Winchester semi auto sporting rifle. I tried looking for examples of one and couldn't even find one. It came out in 1956 and I bet very few people ever bought one, if it even went into mass production.
The army tested the AR18 multiple times and every time it did WORSE than the M16. The M16 was sabotaged by ordnance corps when it was introduced in vietnam
Not as popular as the Ak platform, which is a 10x better gun, if the hinge on the 18 gets broken the rifle is useless that is one reason the Army classified it as junk quite right in my opinion also!..
