these are all ants in a ant conony (ima ant researcher btw) theres more then this but these are the main ants! nanitics - Nanitic workers are workers in a eusocial insect colony (such as an ant or termite colony) that are smaller than the other workers. Nanitics result from starvation and are often workers arising from the first brood. When a colony is first founded the new queen must raise the first brood of workers. workers - The worker ants are female ants and most of them stay in the ant nest and complete tasks like tending to the young. A colony of ants can contain more than one queen, but this depends on what species it is. Queen ants are usually the biggest ants in the colony. majors - Majors are a class of ants. The buffer, stronger and slightly larger sisters of the workers. The Majors main role is to defend the nest from spiders and enemy ants, attend and enforce raids on enemy ants along with Super Majors. Majors are basically Super Majors but weaker. (I would include the super major but I don't have any information about them yet) alates - An alate is a winged reproductive caste from a social insect colony in its winged form. yeah i dont like that in story mode the queen is right by the door but in freemode you can make your own little maze making it much more difficult for intruders to reach the queen.
