Xander Stok, founder of Project of Love - the Bible in Song, shares his testimony about his encounter with God (2019). After this divine encounter he was freed from 20 plus years of struggling with severe depression, many addictions and a suicidal lifestyle. Two years after that (Jan 19 2021) he heard a voice speak when reading the book of Isaiah in his Bible. Later, in a dream, Jesus explained to him that through this Project of Love they would "show the heart of the Father to the world".

Hi Andrea, you could share Xander’s testimony with your son. Sometimes it helps to relate to someone and to really see there is hope and a way out. It might be a Way for the Holy Spirit to speak to him. 🙏 We bless you and your son and pray that he will open his heart for Jesus to walk right in. I need to do a testament about my life with God. And am asking for help to explain about all the storms that are about to collide like that wave in one of your video. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. I know what is being mentioned to me but I have no idea what it means my 57 years are spread nationwide. My kids think I'm crazy. Yes! Sing the scriptures! Years ago, (I am now 64), I was called kind of last minute to sing a song at one of the churches I attended. I felt strongly led to turn to Psalms, and sing acapella…so I did. It was so very powerful. I am encouraged by your music project, because this is such a pure way of sharing God’s words. Thank you.

I asked God to cease to exist me. He talked to me as well. He told me he would heal me. and two weeks later, he led me to your music. I talk to him all the time in prayer and meditation. I expect answers as well and he answers. God's peace is how I judge the authenticity of info and answers to prayers. God healed me and you assisted. You are worthy. I don't know if that means anything but I was asked to say that and how what you've accomplished has ripped in high vibration of goodness. Ty

A few years ago I realized that music was my idol so I threw my collection away. Thousands of cd’s and vinyl. It was very hard to find Christian music that I liked and trusted that let me focus on Him. I found your music on RU-vid and it became my favorite go to instantly. I love it! Many people are learning scripture because of this music. When you were mentioning Isaiah I heard your song playing. This is just so amazing to me. I went to a music studio(I also write and sing Bible based music) a couple weeks back, and I let the owner hear one of the songs from you and Jesus and He said, now, I could listen to this(He also loved Rock), and said His family were Christians. I am praying God will use you to bring Him to Himself… My favorites are My Covenant, Look at the Birds and I love You. So many.

Xander, you have the most amazing, beautiful testimony of conversion to salvation in Jesus Christ that I’ve ever heard. You are a miracle - we are all miracles that truly come to know the Heavenly Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit, the three in one. You have the exact kind of relationship with your Papa that should be desired by all - you are led by Him, you are taught the Word by Him, you commune with Him and He with you and you worship Him in spirit and in truth. A church is not necessary and neither is any man to teach you, just a simple relationship with the Creator of all - how marvelous is that??!! Oh Xander, thank you so much for your precious testimony here! So real! I can relate to most all of your past struggles!! Papa is definitely loving and merciful! He knows our hearts and needs. He knows just how to reach us and help us! Thank You Jesus for healing my brother in Jesus!! Thank You Lord and Xander for ministering to us all with Your words in beautiful music and profound videos!! 🥰🙌💥✝️ I'm so thankful for Jesus healing me from depression also and all but 1 addiction this far! I'm down to about 7 cigarettes a day. I used to smoke 1 - 1 1/2 packs daily, until 3 years ago. Praise God hallelujah! 🙏✝️🥰

Praise God Xander!! Thank you Jesus. You save the BEST FOR LAST! This is what I heard two days ago! Your music helps me when the spirit of heaviness comes upon me. Your albums are on repeat.. Music has been in my spirit since birth. It’s how I escaped. Before I became saved I was a big Metal Head. I loved Rock and Black metal. I know all too well the darkness. Around 34 years ago I had a dream of meeting Jesus in a small bright white room in the clouds and he communicated telepathically. Those were the most wild intense feelings I've ever experienced. @@Ccc35712 You're welcome. Yeah, I don't believe it was really a dream either. I had one other dream very similar to this one at 2 years old and I didn't believe that one was just a dream either. The last few years I've been having dreams that have proven themselves to have been glimpses into the future about a particular woman. The last time I saw her I flashbacked to the dream I had at two years old. That dream was really wild, I suddenly had memories of a life before this one and the woman that appeared in the white light room I recognized as my wife. LOL I was plugged in like in the Jesus dream. I never saw Jesus in the wife dream but I knew he was there because I was connected to everything. Telepathically she told me she had to go far away for many years, but would return. The spirit of Jesus would remain with me to protect. Don't even get me started on the things I've seen concerning protection. LOL These fascinating times keep getting more fascinating.

I also had many years of asking the Lord to just take me out. Abusive marriage, more head injuries than I can count, addiction issues, things common to many. Our Father is so good and with loving kindness draws us to Him. Then we go through the process of sanctification, and from glory to glory He is shaping us into His image as we die to our self and allow His Spirit to live in and through us. So grateful for your testimony and you guys know how much you mean to me. God has blessed me so richly with your gifts and I can’t tell you how often I’ve just let the healing tears and waters flow. Soon we’ll all be worshipping together in His eternal presence. Beyond looking forward to it…without taking steps to hurry it along 😉🙌❤️🎶

@@ProjectofLove_biblesongs ❤️Daddy God truly does work good in all things, so all my circumstances He has turned to good! He is a faithful God, and I can now say I count it all joy!! Few verses in psalm 119 slapped me upside my head years ago..”before I was afflicted I went astray, but now I keep Your Word “, “it is GOOD for me that I have been afflicted, so that I might learn Your statutes “. Years later this one popped out, “I know oh Lord that Your judgements are true and that in faithfulness You have afflicted me “. Affliction is to be made humble and without it we are born believing a lie that we are God. That’s what human nature is in a nutshell. Thanks be to God for His faithfulness and showing us that we aren’t God, He is and we can trust Him in every way. Incidentally…abusive marriage was probably before you were even born. I asked Him if I should really be marrying this guy and I got a “no”, and within milliseconds I talked myself out of listening to Him. Lied to myself for years about it until one morning in quiet time as I cried out to the Lord about my ex husband’s condition and that “You called me to be with him “, He reminded me …no I didn’t, you asked and I said no. Much learned! ❤️ Blessings to you sister, and all of you on your team over there in the Netherlands. Dear to my heart, as I came to Christ 52 years ago through Corrie Ten Boom. 🇳🇱

I need to update this too. The other day we were out camping and all throughout the trip I would hear different songs of yours at different times. It made me ask the Lord why am I hearing this certain song at this moment. It wasn't like one song kept resonating in my head the whole time, at different points I would hear different songs related to different topics of scripture.

Every day I listen to the Bible scriptures set to music. I am grateful to God for using your talent to help me memorize Bible scripture. I think your testimony is special and I think it is special how confidentially you deal with God and how you involve Him in your entire life. For me, I sometimes find it difficult to clearly distinguish His voice. You are blessed in many things Xander and your wife will certainly be happy about that too. And so she is also richly blessed in that regard. The best thing for a woman is a man who walks closely with God. That is why God must have created Adam first, so that He could give Eve a man who lived in familiarity with God.😊

The old timey preachers like Charles Spurgeon would use the word "condescend" to describe how the Lord comes to us frail and broken people. It amazes me how God chooses to use us to carry out his will and calls it "partnership." His love and "condescension" for we, his creation is beyond measure or description.

I identify so much with your story Xander! Music has always had a powerful influence on me. As a teen and young adult in the 70s and 80s the music I listened to led me down some very dark and sinful paths. When I had a powerful conversion back to the Catholic faith of my childhood I couldn't listen to any Rock music at all, but I disliked Christian rock. I recently was introduced to Damascus Worship Music at a woman's retreat there and began to feel the power of the music in helping me to pray always. This Lent I listened to the Lenten Praylist on the Hallow app and of all the great music on there I immediately was drawn to your music the most and couldn't figure out why, but I felt such joy and goodness coming from it. I can't explain the effect you're music has on me! It stays in my head weeks after I listen to it. Now I know that the Holy Spirit is behind all this!! The part about surrendering your music to God is also an amazing lesson for me. I have shared this with my musical family and many others. God bless you and thank you!

I discovered this project of yours a few weeks ago. I work with the elderly and they love it, it brings them peace! I had assumed it was just something a church group from somewhere had put together…I just happened upon your story. I’ve always sang the Bible when I read it, and I started taking piano lessons last week so that I could add music to the process! I love how you consult Holy Spirit concerning cat food! 🎉

Dearest Brother Xander 💞 I had a vision of you from the Father of Lights ✨✨✨✨ I saw that you were sitting with your mouth open like a baby chick waiting to be fed. There were musical notes flowing from the Lord which went into your mouth. The notes went all through your body and then flowed out of your fingers. The notes were moving your fingers as you sat there playing your guitar 🎸 Music from the Father's Heart flowed through your whole being like a symphony back to the Father. It's so important for people to see there is another way. Brother your testimony is awesome. I actually need to share with you something, what's the best way to reach you? Nevermind you're busy. When you said God said "Focus on me." Those were the exact words He told me when anxiety was eating me alive and my mind was a trap full of worries and obessive thoughts. He took me to a church(I hadn't been to church in so long.) Where I heard Him say "Focus on me." He would say that and remind me. He still does. I think it's so cool that He said that to you too. Praise the Lord for what He has done. Love is the backing for all God does.

I have been asking musicians, because I sing, that I would meet along life’s path, “Why don’t you sing to The Holy Bible; The Word?” No one understood what I saw or heard in their heart, what I felt God had placed on my heart know, to watch for, or to do; I didn’t know, but back then in 2007 ish, it wasn’t the right time! I kept praying and asking God about what to do and the only answer I received in my spirit was ‘the band/musicians already exist’, but I couldn’t find any proof that said this. lol. So, I just left it in Gods hands and believing it was so, Wow, I found this channel when you released “Matthew 6: Look at the Birds”. While watching eagles nesting ! 🦅 🦅❤❤ Thank you! Thank you again for answering the call! Hallelujah! Hallelujah! I’m sure you have heard this but just in case: Angels of God are activated with us speaking and singing the Holy Words of God! Psalms 103:20-22 kjv 20] “Bless ye the Lord, ye his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, harkening unto the voice of his word. 21] Bless ye the Lord, all ye his hosts: ye ministers of his, that do his pleasure. 22] Bless the Lord, all his works in all places of his dominion: bless the Lord, O my soul.” Hopefully you can do a concert in America! I found my Fathers heart this past year through the book of Isaiah. He has held me in His arms as I felt like a lost child, weeping. He has really used your music & video (His Word, by His Spirit) to show me the love He has for me by sending His Son to set me free. I have listened to countless times as He sends them my way to speak His Word over me (and the imagery is so powerful as well!) just when I needed it and His presence is so very strong.
