I go looking for a lush, secret beach to relax on here in Costa Rica and what I find is a slice of paradise. Best of all, I have the beach all to myself.
In this video, I will take you on a hiking exploration in Jacó and set out to find a beautiful hidden beach and hike over to the neighbouring town of Playa Herradura. From amazing mountains and ocean views to lush vegetation, this video will provide you with a unique perspective on adventuring in Jacó. Great video Lindsey it's nice to see the places around Jaco especially the potoo spot where we met at Quebrada Bonita. I had a wonderful 6 weeks spent in Costa Rica and now back in Canada where it's still winter. I'll be definitely watching your videos and keep the beautiful memories alive. The berries you saw in the Erythrina tree were actually figs, probably an epiphyte.

It's in the fabaceae family, genus Erythrina. I made small error calling it Erythri... Forgot the "n"🤣 sorry

This trail is no longer accessible as the road and trail are now fenced off.

Thank you for this! I've been reading lots of message boards that say Jaco is getting to be unsafe. Are you finding an increase in crime in the area?

There is an increase of crime throughout the entire country. While it is concerning, I actually feel quite safe in Jacó. It's one of the only places I feel I can walk alone freely without having to look over my shoulder all the time. Jacó is much safer than San Jose, where I lived for many years as well. The crime wave in the country is mostly related to drug gangs. Stay away from that scene and use common sense, trust your gut, you most likely will be fine. Keep in mind that your perspective on safety is largely based on where you are coming from. I've never had a problem here regarding safety. Pura vida

Pura Vida Lindsey/Lyndsay/Lyndsey/? ... however it's spelled. I think you should consider trimming that mustache. Nowadays beards, goatees, and trimmed staches seem to be hip. (except in November) LMK if you'd like a coupon code for a waterproof rechargeable :D

My cave would be hidden near a view area if possible. Of the sea I would live well also with a live cam or many having a look 24/7 for a 💰lol 🧗‍♀and the 📹🤛 did a great job of it 🍻 to you and thanks. Peace be with you 😺
