They're second guessing their life, they don't get why people are laughing and are confused about their own sense of humour and their existence on earth
@@abel6298In Matthew 6:5 Jesus talks about "when you pray." He warns us against being supplicational show-offs who stand in prominent places and mouth meaningless mush in order to be seen and heard. A show-off loves syrupy words. He's got the technique for sounding high and holy down pat. But Jesus says: Don't show off when you talk with the Father.
@@DrAElemayo ik it's 2 months later lmao. I think it's kinda cool because they were allowed to be apart of one big joke and if Niko wasn't there then the likelihood of exposure is much much less
The funniest part to me is that this entire prank was actually an incredible comedy act. I guarantee every single person in that paid crowd was genuinely laughing because it's just such an absurd and unusual situation that you can't help but find it hilarious
The lady with the orange top in the front earned her paycheck. She did a great job at laughing in a natural way. Great actress. Profesional. Most didn't even laugh, or just chuckled.
It's interesting to see that the owner thought of the second performance as better than the first just because people laughed more while in fact the first one was much funnier.
Having done standup I will say, his first set was actually pretty good for a first time even despite (or maybe because of) his trying to sabotage it with his dry, phone-reading delivery
@@comet6740 They expected him to say ‘because 7 8(ate) 9’. But he said because 7’s black, cos it’s a stereotype for white people to be scared of black people
This man hates public speaking and still manages to push past his comfort zone. Big respect. Unfortunately I can't say I'd ever willingly speak publicly so kudos
Naturally, you will struggle to push past your comfort zone, whilst perched on Donald trump’s penis. Quite OBVIOUSLY… You suffer with low self esteem, which can be cured, once you start doing estimable things. 🙏🏼❤
@@sineer I think it's pretty funny how u lump everyone into one category and assume that everyone acts the same and there's no deviating from the norm. Yea, true, most people who don't like speaking publicly will never do so- but there are outliers that will do it in order to better themselves. That's what he's doing and he's been getting a lot better at it as a result of being brave enough to go through with it
@@YusufAli-69I hope I'm misinterpreting your comment because if you think he is fine speaking in front of audiences then that same video you mentioned, you didn't actually pay enough attention lol
Niko would be unstoppable if he actually added standup comedy to his skillset. He already has the confidence, stage presence, crowd work, and he seems like a great storyteller too. If Max Fosh can do it, Niko certainly can as well. Big up the NDL!!!!
@@naariznica3133So...? Spammers are stupid but I don't get how what you said changes anything. Would you rather advertise to a specific audience or every audience _including_ that specific audience for no extra cost?
@@TheUnderscore_ that’s called wasting your time. If you are a comedian, your probability of gaining a following is much larger when you go to a stand up club, not when tell your jokes on a busy street. The same goes for him. Plus what he’s doing is annoying and against the guidelines
@@naariznica3133 As I just said, and is the whole point of my reply, the bot isn't choosing one or the other, he's choosing both at the same time for no extra cost. Please read and use your brain before replying.
@@TheUnderscore_ this comment section is just a busy street, not a specific audience. If you can’t explain your ‘thought processes’ you have no business trying to insult others.
lmao the segment at the beginning where he was supposed to bomb was still muuuch funnier than the local open mic shit in my neighborhood. dude just has a presence and charm about him that goes a long way, can't be understated
@@MakhalanyaneMotaung That's what I mean, it's like he was deaf to the jokes because they were all laughing. It would be mad if someone kept doing this until they charge a mad fee to do a set and swindle the comedy club 😭
Niko is one of the best. There’s never an upload that’s dodgy or unfunny. Like other creators who hit and miss Niko never misses he plans his videos out every time and u can really tell. We love you Niko ❤
Bro I was cackling at the very first joke right out of the gate, in comedy you can achieve a so bad it’s good type of humor and this dude does it perfectly
@@PietervandebuurtIt doesn't. People don't (and can't) look at a channel's comments from the channel alone (they'd have to go to random videos and try to find the specific channel lol). The few people that don't ignore bots are gonna click on the video, and that's more than if the bot didn't advertise at all.
This was a scientific experiment. Alfie, like anybody, probably thinks that he is the originator of his own opinions. Niko did objectively worse the second night, stealing people's jokes and talking about nothing at times and yet Alfie thought it was the "best second gig performance he's ever seen" just because the audience was laughing. This shows how much people are influenced by their social environment. All your tastes, opinions, etc are totally determined by the social environment you are in
Its really not this deep in this case. He just recognizes that if a stand up routine gets massive crowd response and you dont find it funny doesnt mean its bad, it just means it isnt your taste but the point is to entertain people and people were definitely entertained so therefore it is a good routine. His opinion on the jokes is completely irrelevant on it being a good performance or not, what the crowd thinks is best is what matters because his job is to entertain the crowd, not alfie.
Yeah, I don't think the club owner found it particularly funny. From his perspective, though, Niko and the crowd were on this perfect wavelength where even non-funny, declarative statements were met with raucous laughter. It must have looked like he was the most intuitive comedian of all time. Like he'd tapped into some fountain of comedy where he just could not fail.
"All your tastes, opinions, etc are totally determined by the social environment you are in" is a bit dramatic. Yeah, they have an effect for sure, but they don't make up for everything. Not to mention, some people are more influenced by the immediate circumstances than others. Plenty of people fly in the face of what's expected in a situation because they don't agree with it.
4:59 I gotta say, this wasn’t a good performance really, but what a good crowd. Giggled, had fun, they weren’t disrespectful. Excellent spot. Can’t wait to finish the vid
