Repent and trust in Jesus. He's the only way to Heaven. We've all sinned and deserve Hell. Sins like lying, lusting, etc. Repent and trust only in Jesus, and you will be saved! You can be saved because he took the punishment for our sins on himself when he died on the cross, just like someone can pay your speeding fine in court, and you get off free. Romans 3:23 John 3:16❤😊
The pure absurdism of that last joke “play schools, play schools” would have cracked me up so much. The fact you had that as your finale aswell I’m DEAD
I think by that time I would have figured that he was trying to make a point about how much our sense of humor changes with age by pretending to be a child and that last part would also have surprised and killed me.
Nah, it's funnier this way. Anyone who knows about Max Fosh will think the video must be something along the lines of "I did the worst possible stand-up".
@@PurooRoy Yeah even if they don't it still gives me a chuckle to think of folks seeing his name on a huge show and thinking "Wasn't that the kindergarten joker? How's he playing at x?"
Yes exactly. Every fiber in their body wants to tell them. Great restraint. Even if they did, leaving viewers on YT in the dark is a good choice. Cringefest 2024
This is literally beyond comedy. A joke so advanced it takes weeks to land, but so childish anyone could understand it. So over the audience's head that no one laughs until weeks later, because they thought it was so beneath their comprehension. And when everything has been done, the only thing to do is present it in a new way, everyone thought they were beyond playground humour and their lack of reaction only intensified the joke. This is the only video i think I'll ever watch that made me physically move to get off my seat because i was laughing, with discomfort yes, but it physically moved me. To the floor. Because i couldn't stand the thought of trying to tickle an audience member. Max you are truly pushing comedy into new realms.
i feel like this is kinda like… i don’t know… reading a short story by a seven year old and reading into it until you find some brilliant diction or motif or something it’s like finding a hundred themes in a great book and acting as if they actually affect the experience or were written in intentionally i guess what im saying is i don’t think it was pushing comedy or max’s brilliance or anything - still glad you enjoyed it so much though
@@AIpuchino... i know... I was merely saying its impressive how he can go on stage and deliver that routine without explaining at the end what the bit was
"Plagiarism is a big deal, so make sure these are your jokes. Are these your jokes?" "Yes." **looks down at his joke book that was clearly not published by him**
Lol! Max should have integrated the jokes into his own routine! He should have said something about going to a school and getting told about his smelly jumper by a seven year old. 😂
The people who attended this show are probably so relieved to come across this video Edit: A lot of people are replying to my comment 😊 It's just people replying to a jesus bot 💀

Imagine Max having to do one of the most embarrassing and difficult experiences of his life. And now imagine him having to watch all of the footage back numerous times while he edits this video
@@EerybodyIsAnnoying I agree but if I was a betting man I would say these times are it 🤷🏼♂️ Sorry I don't mean to be scaring you, its just my opinion don't pay it any heed if you think its nonsense!!
9:33 "You gotta imagine that you're at home in bed, tucked up, and I'm your dad." I actually fell out of my chair onto the ground of second hand embarrassment there...
I love how enthusiastic and respectful you were of your writers, I can't help but think how excited they have to be to be able to watch it, and feel good about it.... until they re-visit it in about 10 years haha.
I delayed watching the performance for an entire 15 minutes before I finally brought up the courage to watch it and it and it was the worst second-hand embarrassment experience that I've ever had omg
10:07 the repeatedly play schools over and over again as an intense psychological limbo which u don’t want to continue the awful joke but also is afraid to finish it and see the crowds reaction was an experience
I struggle to think of a parallel that I have experienced because this is on another level, but I know the feeling of struggling against the instinct to run away before every one of those jokes.
I personally think the whole routine was hilarious XD you delivered the lines, absurd as they may be, magnificetly. I would've been cracking up. Tough crowd!!
@@Lev0t0nthe bit where he got tea for journalists waiting outside his home only to leave again was great, i'd just think someone more fond of his politics wouldn't necessarily agree with "funny" as a general description
Watching this the day before I give a ted talk in class makes me feel so much better. So thank you for publicly embarrassing yourself and posting it online so everyone else can not worry so hard about preforming. A true hero who never once regretted his choice to do this.
@@Youbii my classmates seemed to love it but the teacher hated it because I went under time. Currently I’m getting a worse mark than someone who completely blanked out on what to say next that lasted for 30 seconds but I’m almost done high school so won’t have to worry about stuff like that too much.
The “play schools” hurt so much , man max has balls to do that, the whole point of the vid is really rad because yea it won’t get worse haha , this is a really stellar idea !
I think that revealing it and even just knowing that it will be revealed just after the performance would have made it much less embarassing and difficult for Max, which works against the original objective. Maybe? The idea is for him to learn not to worry when he tells a bad joke and no one laughs. And since he's not gonna say "sorry for those bad jokes yea they are not my best material" after the real show, then he probably shouldn't say it during this one for the very reasons he's doing this fake gig in the first place.
@@AlexanderTheMiddleI think best case would have been for Ian or the host to reveal to the crowd. That way Max doesn’t know about the easy out at the end and the audience gets to know what that lunatic was talking about
I was expecting him to announce before hand that his gig was written by 7 year olds. The fact that he didn't do that was mindblowing! The cringe was brutal, that takes balls of steel! Well done!
I closed my eyes and just listened to it thinking it might remove the second hand embarrassment but damn it still hurts. You a legend for doing this Max!
Props to you Max not only for going through with it, but also for putting it up on youtube. I spent 20 mins scrolling through the comments trying to psych myself up to watch the standup itself.. but I couldn't bring myself to do it. Leaving a comment instead to still give something for the algorithm
That was absolutely amazing. I literally think you should try to make that set work. I think there's a delivery where it kills. There's a meta-comedy Kaufman aspect of it.
Max, I salute you. This has to gave been one of thr hardest videos for me to watch because I kept on thinking about how you must have felt doing it. Hats off mate, I hope it's only upwards from here!
Oh my god Max you're a madman. The sheer amount of dread I feel just WATCHING you getting ready to do this has me almost physically sick, I can't imagine how much willpower it required to step onto that stage
@@JD-rd4pk I do aswell. I wonder if Alex is hesitant because once he invites one content creator, it sort of sets a precedent. Max would definitely be good though
I honestly think that max has the best content rn, he fully commits to the execution of these silly ideas. No clickbait, no loopholes or cut corners. If you read a silly title just know he’s doing just that lol
