Yes, it was really fascinating. Adds to the replayability of the career mode. Usually Ben goes straight into the pit after suffering wing damage. I also remember in one race, Alex just added to the front wing angle, instead of changing it, and got better results.

It's really cool seeing you have an engineer. It keeps you focused on the driving and not calculating pit stop placing or when best to change a wing, etc.

hmm do you think? I feel like he did so much talking with the engineer that that in effect caused much more of a distraction. Cause playing the f1 game youre used to thinking about those things you mentioned, but youre not used to talking so much i would say. especially when youre lacking a bit of pace

Haha, thats funny. But man, your strategy was on point. Congrats on the P5, well earned after the difficult scenario. I also think maybe if the wing damage is not so bad, example here you mentioned it was 19%, would it have been enough if the wing angle was just increased?

@@adolfkamuzora9044 Great question! Depending on the amount of damage, that might work. Although in this scenario, it would have left Ben even more vulnerable in a straight line than he already was due to the setup not being corrected enough for the upgrades compared to the Mexico league racing setups I usually work with (which was entirely my fault).

Hate to be the one to say it but the race engineer is pretty much redundant. It sounds great on paper but he’s just regurgitating information that is already on the screen and easy to see. It only serves as another distraction, especially if he’s going to talk in the middle of corners, which is a big no no in real life. Besides, it ruins the banter between you and Gillon

Unfortunately with him absolutely sabotaging Ben, and his complete lack of race craft(spinning out Ben and just running away with it) and sportsmanship(Literally being the only person to finish in Imola because a bug) from prior races. I think he's going to win. The absolutely worst way but it is what it is at this point I suppose.

Ben sent his in-game UDP Telemetry (Settings -> Telemetry Settings) to my PC, where I used a tool called "Team Telemetry" to visualize it like this.

The engineer thing was really cool. But like you told him once, a bit too much talking I think. You need to focus while driving, especially when youre lacking a bit pace this race/weekend. I'm sure if you bring him on a few more times it will work better and better

Oh absolutely. I have worked with all kinds of different drivers so far. Some really get chatty, others only want the most crucial info. On the first engineering session, it's always a bit hit-or-miss. But once you find a groove, it gets a lot better.

I think Perez turns in so early to avoid the Mclaren ahead actually. So initially he brakes super late cause you're trying to overtake him (as the stupid online AI does) and then realises hes about to punt into the Mclaren, so turns in early. The online IA are seriously stupid
