@@Al-gs1oc I stuck at Eliminator too. I dont know how many hours i have but if i would guess maybe 45h or something like it. Red ranks are other level right? But i noticed that before i was being massacred by them and I was happy for winning 1 round. Now i pretty close to them winning 2 of 3 rounds and sometimes i can win 1 out of 3 in rematches. I noticed that the level of players in the same rank changez a lot too. I fought a Dragunov Shyriu and he was doing the same 2 or 3 string all the time. I even won against a Fujin (i use +-3 preferencial, thinking in change to +-2). So I think we just have to keep trying and improving. For me its time to stop being lazy and start to use the replay feature now
Some of the comments in this video suggesting you're flexing is missing the point imo. Yes, you've got good execution with a difficult character, but for those of us not playing Kazuya, there's still much we can learn here. My main takeaways are how you don't mash, observe your opp, and then adapt. Prime example is the Brian match, where you recognised he blocks low a lot and just abused him with mids.
Hey thanks for the comment! This is exactly what I wanted to show in the video! Kazuya is an extremely difficult character, and the idea was to show that if I can perform well with a difficult character, it should be easier for people with easier characters if they take their time and adapt based on what their opponents were doing! The main takeaway from this video is that everyone at these ranks have some sort of flaw that is holding them back, by being able to recognize what these flaws are, you can abuse it for extremely easy wins, and when the flaw isnt obvious, then you get to play "real tekken" haha, Thanks again for the comment! I am glad you were able to take away information from the video!:)
@AveryxFGC No problem, dude. I must say, I really like when good players commentate and break down what they were thinking during a match. Hope to see more content like that 😊
@@fragr33f74 I am honored that you think I am a good player haha, I will definitely be making more soon! my video for tomorrow is a breakdown analysis about cheating and how Ghost AI can actually give us important information about cheating and how it works in tekken! Its not anything that will help in your everyday ranked matches, but is a pretty neat video discussing some things I tested out! I upload every week at wednesday 1pm EST, so you can always expect new content then:)
Absolutely! it will always be a climb, but ive seen people claim that they could never hit a rank no matter what. I wanted to make an enjoyable video to show you could hit goals even with barely any time to play!
Man this video is such a weird flex and also pointless considering its premise. You have a great execution with one of the hardest character in the game, a solid previous experience it's noticeable. You are definitely above average red rank player. You'll have also been playing an hour per week but it's obvious that you've spent a lot of time on tekken in the past. So yeah with your knowledge and execution skills anyone can make it out of red ranks.
I have about 200 hours on T7, I spent about half of that time in T7 practicing movement and electrics and thats about it. go back through my channel and watch my last T7 video, hitting warrior is T7 was genuinely the highest I had hit, and didnt care to grind much since T8 was almost out. I am not trying to "flex" because I know how to hit electrics and kbd, its literally just the character I play. We both know as well theres much worse players than me that are much higher as well, so this video isnt a "hey look at this flex I demolish red ranks" but a "hey im super busy and I could grind to this rank so can you!" its supposed to be motivation, not a competition!
Thank you! Editing takes a lot of time and dedication to learn, but is so much fun and can really up the quality in videos so much! if you ever have editing questions feel free to ask!
Also I noticed a trend in this video. I wanna put a theory to the test. I know u will say, no that won’t work. But Ima try to get to purple off ff3 and he’ll sweep alone. But I will also learn the combo u do in this video 🤔🤔🤔
It could absolutely work! around this rank people just auto duck mishimas a ton, because of this I actually switch my gameplan and use way less lows, and replace every hellsweep with ff3 instead, it ended up working very well, and is actually the reason I barely did any electrics in this video! ff3 is such a good move and is one of the least utilized moves in kazuyas kit when I watch lower ranked kazuyas play!
Take all the time you need to improve yourself and your channel❤I didn’t know u had 1 hour of tekken a week😮sounds like a nightmare😅Also I really enjoy these videos which is why I watch them and comment on them❤
Thanks a ton!! I really appreciate the support, and tekken is becoming something I can play more regularly and im excited! while im getting used to playing this game more I wanna focus on good youtube content. Thanks as always for sticking around and supporting the channel, im so glad you enjoy the content!
Let me ask are you playing on a mixbox or keyboard? Or do you have prior tekken experience like booting up the game and just doing electrics? Edit : I'm asking this since you have execution first few minutes I can see you doing the proper backdash inputs and electrics you already have a solid base
hey! my prior tekken experience is just T7 with 240 hours, and 150 on T8, I play on a fightstick! almost all of my hours in T7 was in practice mode practicing electrics and kbd so I would be ready in T8, as I got into tekken suuuper late, my very first video on this channel was one of my very first times playing the game! (I think I played for two weeks before that video) outside of that I have no prior fighting game experience, so I just relied on youtube and practice mode haha
@@AveryxFGC thanks man. It always really shocks me I run into so many crazy talented kaz players at lower ranks Makes me wonder if my play style is just suited for ranked play at these lower ranks or something. I can’t kbd or wave dash either 😂
@@koolmain8159 and thats totally fine! if you cant do any of these things and still hit kishin, it means youre doing something right at least! once you get down electrics and everything eles it'll just mean youll be that much better:)
As a fellow college student, I def understand the struggle of finding the time to improve. Inspiring Kaz as always and congrats on 1K! (late I know lol)
I just want to know, How many hours do you guys have? I have 52 and I only get to play tekken at every second weekend. I am Flame Ruler right now with yoshimitsu. I spent 3600 hours in LoL just to get to fookin Emerald xD
I personally have 150ish hours on T8, but a lot of those are spent practicing offline or recording Broll footage honestly hahaha. and good shit hitting emerald in League! I could never honestly, that game makes no sense to me LMAO
@@AveryxFGC Yeah, LoL boils my blood. my first fighting game was mk11(280 hours). I bought it for 4 euro on steam when it was on sale. I fucking loved it. Even when everyone yapped about it being bad i just liked it. I always wanted to try tekken, but that anime looking style was holding me back. But when i finally did it, the first thing that cought my eye was yoshi, and then i never played anything else xD
@@tomkycze2620 hell yeah dude thats great that you found a character that sticks with you! yoshi is both one of the most annoying, and also coolest characters in the game haha, awesome choice!
electrics are just muscle memory! I practiced for maybe an hour a day when I first picked up T7 a couple months ago, and its just stuck, electrics arent super hard to hit with some practice!
@@AveryxFGC lies ive been doing them for months they are super dooper hard, especially after switching to stick!!!!! Why troll bro........ I troll him really good haha.
Please send all the Kings back to Garyu so I can play them please. I can't lab against King because I get excited for a split second only to be disappointed by the reality that it's just going back to practice mode. 😢 Supposedly the most popular character but somehow I don't see him that often.
Ive noticed it seems to be based on location too! I have a friend whos west coast and doesnt run into kings often around these ranks, im on the east coast of NA and as you can see I just kept running into them haha. Keep running those throw break drills and practicing the matchup! once you come across the next king youll be ready to kick his ass:)
hey man thanks a ton for the comment!! congrats on hitting mighty ruler too! trust me though, when my matches are bad, they are BAD haha. dont discredit all that hard work you did hitting purple! I know I struggled a bit honestly when making this video haha. keep grindin and if you hit mighty ruler blue ranks is def achievable!
This absolutely can work yes! F4 locks players down and gives great damage on counterhit, and hellsweep is a great way to get people to duck! Incorporate ff3 as well and you can get so much done with just those three moves!
with enough dedication and practice I think anyone can get out of purple! if youve already hit it, you have at least some understanding of how the game works, which means you just gotta keep grinding!
@@tijankusacic8079 at least youre on the higher end of purple! all itll take is one good day and youll be up there in blue ranks! Id say watching one vod at least per play session and finding out what you could do better/what you could punish next time you fight that character, keep grinding, youre in the home stretch!
