It's probably going to be pretty mid at best.

Spoiler looks good! It really sucks that a VQ is so cheap, but a CD to go with it is so expensive.

Thanks! Yeah the motors are pretty affordable, secondhand the transmissions aren't too bad. New they can be had for $2200, which is pretty fair for a brand new Nissan transmission. I actually just picked up a donor car today, so hopefully I can start making some progress.

@@EndMotive Just sucks they used to be like $1,600 brand new IIRC and you could find them used for $500-900 all day. Prices have just gone up a lot with the popularity.

@@802Garage For sure, I was looking at them only a couple years ago and you are totally right....Unfortunately, everything has got a little crazy in pricing. I can still find them used in the $800+ range...but harder to find.

What program do you use to be able to split them into pieces? I want to 3D print larger objects but be able to split them like you did while adding that little notch you did for the inserts.

I do it all in fusion 360. I create an offset plane every 120mm or so and then use that to divide the part and then manual create the dowels and then do a subtractive cut of the other half....hopefully that all made sense.
