The closest we ever got to that in the U.S. was during the initial days of COVID. Some guys took advantage and set a Cannonball run world record, if memory serves. If anyone isn't familiar, the Cannonball Run is a trip from New York to Los Angeles in the shortest time possible. Many, many laws are broken when one attempts a Cannonball Run, but there's something deeply romantic about it for many if not most Americans.

I have learned so much about what to do and what not to do by watching your videos and applied that to a 2wd slash i built and so far hit 109mph with the stock body! Keep it up bro!!
Surreal to see the roads. The battery explosions after a crash is my biggest fear in California! Last thing I want is to be on the news for a wild fire with my RC 😅
Ghost Branch. The term given to the _B$!$$ F##$@#!!_ little branch that ruins everything when you're ripping your FPV quad through trees. Same fiery effect and loss, but still, bro... That was Awesome!

That hurt to watch it stopped so fast!! Sorry to see your car get so smashed. Reflectors have been my problem in Florida I cant find a good road near me that doesnt have them seeing this I am glad I never tried. Firesense has a fire extinguisher in a can very portable its designed for lithium fires. Great thing is this never stops you from going forward with the next build good luck we enjoy seeing your work.

Sorry for your loss. You seem to take it in stride despite what must be a significant cost in time and material. At least a new one can be built if you choose and no lives were lost in the making of this video, unless of course you assign life-like qualities to your cars which would be understandable. I watch several RC channels including one who targets speed by throwing unlimited money at his efforts. But clearly money alone will not result in sucess. You are the most tenatious, creative, methodical, and scientific...I am certain you will one day soon reach your goal. I traveled to Israel from the USA multiple times for business, loved it!
You speed guys all suffer from a common problem.....tire failure. Someone should just tackle this issue and engineer a solution? HP does not appear to be the limiting factor. My initial thought is the force destroying the tire is proportional to the tire radius and the rotational speed ...an increase in tire radius therefore produces the greatest reduction in the destructive acceleration caused by the tire rotational speed at any given road speed? Would likely demand body changes but I expect the benefit would more than offset that effort. A minor radius increase should up the speed considerably at which the current tire construction fails. But then what do I know. I spent much of my engineering career using a slide rule for calculations, but I think the laws of Physics are unchanged over the past 50 years.
