The first different smaller US map says Dutch with a question mark for western Pennsylvania, they mistook dutch and Pennsylvania Dutch to be the same thing. It has been called Pennsylvania Dutch by the English speakers nearby, but the amish that do speak the language speak a more archaic form of German called Pennsylvania German or Pennsylvania Deutsch, where the mistake of calling it dutch comes from. In short, that part of the map would just speak an older form of German, not Dutch

Probably saved Pennsylvania Dutch from being removed. Since US government went through a huge purge of everything German from the USA because of WW1.

Taiwan is actually very strong. Far stronger than ukraine. Plus its an island, and unlike ukraine which is flat, it is very mountainous. There r only 9 beaches where chinese can land. Its a nightmare to invade Taiwan

In a scenario of a Chinese invasion of Taiwan however, Taiwan doesn't possess the geographic advantage of Ukraine, sure their mountains would make fighting hell for the invading Chinese Army, but the PLA Navy can blockade the entire island, thus preventing supplies and foreign volunteers from coming to Taiwan

Taiwan would easily defend against China, they have the best coastal artillery on Earth, a much better military than Ukraine, a large Navy, and an independence guarantee from the US and an alliance with Japan.

The most important factors are the very mountaines geography of taiwan compared to the flat eurasian plain in ukraine and the high combat readyness of the taiwanese similiar to the ukrainians

Fun fact: Both Taiwan and China have a policy that only allows you to recognize one of them. This is why even the US doesn’t recognize Taiwan, since they must recognize China for economic reasons. +1000 social credit score!

persia is actually an ok name for iran, iran just what we called ourselves in ancient times but the romans and basically everyone else called us persia, so that's probably where the argument it's not ok to call iran persia came from; being called persia by enemies. or another argument maybe that persia just refers to the land of the persians which only includes the ancient sassanid and achaemenid empires(the whole race calling thing kind of fell apart after the arab conquest so that's why I didn't include later dynasties) other empires run by other races would be the medians and the parthians but yeah it is generally ok to call iran persia

Taiwan would probably fall quicker than Ukraine, but China has to make landfall first. With Taiwan's powerful artillery and navy, they would probably be able to stop a Chinese invasion.

China would have to be much, much, MUCH more careful about collateral damage, since Taiwan produce most of the world chips; a lot of other countries would also be much more invested in what happens there, for that same reason

@@JohnnyZX81 The logistics of moving supplies and troops almost 200 km over the ocean between the mainland and island alone would be a nightmare. Taiwan also has all of its major cities along that coast, so gaining a proper foothold wouldn't be as easy as something like D-day

Mongolians actually had a chance to rebuild Greater Mongolia but Soviets betrayed them and made PRC to take Southern(Inner) Mongolia. They didnt even invade inner mongolia, just manchuria and down into korea. Also, even if they DID, the UN wouldve forced them to leave. So uh, dont know how its betraying. Also considering how China was the USSR'S ally at the time

@@belkYT Quite false ? I don't think so buddy . Go check the Mongolian sources . If read the English sources it's mostly altered by Chinese or Russian . MPA invaded Manchuria together with Inner Mongolia and occupied it . Soviets betrayed them you can learn how H.Choibalsan felt and tried to migrate inn8 mongolians to MPR . But Soviets blocked routes and borders many MPA soldiers argued and fought with soviet soldiers . My grandfather was fought in Liberation war and stationed in Holon Buir and saw how their Soviet friends turned their back to them. After that my grandpa never liked russians anymore . So learn from the Mongolian sources and people who fought there .

@@nettopicko7652 they never did lmao, at the end of the war they never did so it’s impossible to just annex Inner Mongolia. Also, the UN wouldn’t allow it. The USSR never betrayed Mongolia, I guess the most backstabbing thing they did was say “no” to a request Mongolia made so they can be annexed into the USSR, wayyy after the war. Also, even if they did annex Inner Mongolia, it’s all desert so they wouldn’t be a great power. You’re so wrong on all fronts, just like japan.
