I Hunted the RAREST Shiny at Pokémon GO Fest 2024! 

Tom, your approach to Go Fest is the exact same as my approach to Go Fest, with panic and confusion. I try really hard to form a game plan. I even trigger all my eggs and incense just before 10am. But when the time comes and it's game time...utter chaos.

My shiny Corsola came day two from an incense while I was on the toilet. I named him "Go Flush"

I had the same goal, that lil blue coral. And then my son woke up on Saturday with the spicy lung so we were stuck at home all event 🤦🏼‍♀️ I ran incense the entire weekend and did my best, but they were all pink 😢 So after the event ended I settled down with a glass of wine to drown my sorrows… and drift-hatched the shiny three hours after GoFest ended 🎉 There may have been some happy screaming. I’m glad you got yours too!

Wild Faye Mata appeared! That's crazy you know her, she's a fantastic voice actor. Everyone watch Konosuba, it's amazing. Also out of everything I was going for the only stuff I didn't get was Tyrunt, Dusk Rockruff, and Emolga. I wanted one Corsola and got 4, so if you ever want another one and I happen to see you at an event it is all yours.

Congrats Tom. I had the same reaction to spawns off incense. This event finally made me want to get a go ++, was preoccupied with raiding & missed all the Corsola incense spawns. I hatched 40 eggs and walked 30km each day before I finally squeak in and got my shiny Corsola at 5:49pm on Day 2

Corsola was also my biggest chase this GO Fest. I got it from incense in the last 20 minutes on the last day. I almost screamed, cried and died at the same time. My friend got 4-5 without even trying so he traded me 2 in the end. :3 I even hatched 156 eggs... zero shinies from them.

We each found a shiny Lunatone and Ducklett and instantly thought of you!! :D Excited to watch the video :D

My first shiny corsola came on day 2 from a batch of 7km eggs. I had clicked on so many from incense I was just glad to get one. Finally! That scream Tom let out after he lost shiny corsola was both painful and comedicly funny lol

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who's game was constantly closing itself. I dont know why its doing that and it was SO annoying during Go Fest.

I lost a corsola shiny to gotcha. My only shiny one I’d seen. Luckily got traded one by a kind soul

I still have 0 ultra beasts shiny. Wasn't too worried about it. Among the wild spawns, I missed out on emolga, ferroseed, espurr, necrozma, costume espeon, and Jangmo-o. Maybe I'll get them in the future. I'll be waiting for the community day for june 2025 for that pink dragon.

I had an alright GO Fest weekend besides having a couple shiny Rockruff run away cuz of my Got-cha, did catch a shiny Corsola and a shiny Necrozoma from the Special Research, was definitely better experience than last year but reallllllllly expensive since i did almost 60 raids

I got 71 Shinies for Global Go Fest. 4 Shiny Duckett, 3 Shiny Emolga, and 3 Shiny Crabrawlers. I now have all the new Shines but Jangmo-O. Unfortunately didn't get Shiny Umbreon, Espeon, and new Shinies I didn't have like Helioptile, Corsola, and Dedenne. And didn't know the Ultra Beast was only for Day 1 so focused only on Necromza and didn't get any of the new Ultra Beasts in the raids. 83 raids and only got one Shiny Necromza. But my rarest Shiny from Go Fest is a Dusk Rockruff I got from an incense! Also 300+ eggs and NO SHINY! Eggs was either a scam or I was just unlucky!
