I really wanna take a minute and really appreciate how far Mr Fadel has come, not a lot of fans can get the opportunity to even meet Iizuka much less interview him. It really shows how much work Mr Fadel does and how far he came from a small time streamer to being able to conduct interviews with the head of his favorite franchise, truly inspiring.

It's crazy how much the success of the movies have pushed the series forward. I cannot imagine the dark timeline we'd be in if that first film had flopped or used that ugly original design.

It's really cool that a lot of the people getting to interview Iizuka are people who are actual fans and can ask the questions that fans wanna ask (like that IGN on-stage interview the other day, or that Sonic Stadium interview). I always read interviews from general gaming outlets, and while I have no issue with those interviews in a general sense, I always feel like "Gosh, I wish they would ask something more interesting instead, I already know about that". Hearing interviews with official SEGA representatives talking to actual Sonic fans is way more interesting to me, and I think is a really good way to establish some better communication between the fans and the developers.

Apparently one of the answers to the interview (according to twitter) is that shadow generations will show us what happened before and after sonic generations. That makes me think that modern and classic sonic got Time Eater really low and he escaped, but then Shadow decides to try and finish him off as either super or just bare hands.

I love how excited and out of character Fadel is lol, the genuine love for the sonic franchise shows how composed and nervous he is in front of his favorite people. I'm so happy for you bro, next thing we know is you're gonna be a part of sonic team 👍
