I love the fact that SpeedSilver isn’t after money or fame, he just wants a fun server for the players using UHC and in doing so is making a strong community and bringing back a whole bunch of RU-vidrs that had left. I hope Hoplite will continue to grow and become a very successful server
@@okay9374 The money VIP makes will mostly go to funding the server and you don’t have to buy VIP it’s a choice, it doesn’t give you any perks for the battle royal. Lastly I’d like to remind you that silver said in the video that he wanted to make sure VIP was worth the money.
scott thought me alot about behind the scenes of creation, how much he cares about his content & his drive for the perfect video really inspired me in alot of areas, i knew about the idea for a server around a year ago, with testing etc... it was brilliant to watch it all go as planned. I'll always respect silver so much for how much he cared about the players who were in his events, the respect he shows for the people around him / players in events and now hoplite, shows why he is successful and how he will grow the uhc / event community so much more than he already has.
Hoplite is such a great server, hope it will do great in the future and continue to get better, As content creators will get to make more and more content
Great knowing a few of silver’s plans for the future! But I did feel a bit clickbaited by the thumbnail suggesting that Silver was going to give up on hoplite.
I have seen a lot of players complaining about not being able to join or not being able to install the mod pck and stuff so that is something to look at but overall really good
i REALLY respect speed for not wanting to surpass hypixel because it was his childhood. He built his channel on hypixel, and he's making it clear that he does not aim anywhere close to hypixel's potential future death purely out of respect for the insane network that it is, and the inspiration that it gave him. Other than that, the interviews were actually good, alongside the video. you got 1+ sub from me
i think hoplite is to sweaty and is very ping relying when you have high ping you get disconnected all the time + in civilisation truh the glowing effect your fps drop to like 10 :( . as a casual player you cant get any legendary weapons and the players that have them just have way to much off an advantage over you. But the server also has good sides like that it is the new UHC and that it is very unique
I think that Hoplite as of its growth right now could get upto 10k people on at a time with hypixel averaging 40k at this time and become the #2 biggest mc server but I dont think with the big monopoly hypixel has in the minecraft comunity that Hoplite will be able to pass Hypixel
i do also belive it well surpass hypixel but not that long cause people well end up getting bored or some cheaters just end up ruining the game for everyone because there really is no actual way to stop cheaters from spending $30 on another account and cheating in the middle of alaska or pacific ocean but yeah even with updates it well only feel new for the first few games them it well again get a bit boring but i also dont thing the server well die after like 1 month of having 100k players just if everyone gets bored it well probably be at around 1k players again but who knows only time well tell.
I was talking live with this big brazillian minecraft content creator and it hasn't even heard of the Hoplite server. You need to reach to other languages please.
