Tho I play 1.21 i don't think so good for skyblock BC there mods for skyblock on 1.8.9 all of mods going to need to update for 1.21 what is not easy to do and mods need long time to update to 1.21
If they force the use of a custom hypixel texture pack like hoplite and Mccisland I will stop playing because I fucking hate texture packs forced by servers. People create texture packs of their own to use while playing hypixel I don’t want to be forced to use some ugly thing like they have on mccisland.

i am not the haters for short youtubers but i think they need basic respect to people asking question not just post drag click video like a bot and get more views by more comment and more money by youtube's trash video recommend code
i find it so petty that people stay on 1.8 just to have old combat. waa waa just play bedrock at that point or adapt to a constantly changing game. the new combat is way more balanced but "waa waa i wanna spam!"
As much as I prefer 1.9 pvp and believe it to be superior in terms of gameplay, I hope they don't just change the server to entirely have that combat, as I know many people are passionate about it and Hypixel is the biggest server with that combat. I wouldn't want to be put in the places of people that cared about it and lost it all.
bad idea. 1.8 is very forgiving for terrible servers with terrible hitreg with terrible knockback. for 1.9 combat to be good the server needs to be atleast decent
I really dont agree with the update because i feel like what makes Hypixel so much better than other serves is the Vanilla Minecraft-ness to it. I feel like custom mobs and menus would change that a lot
I loved watching techno blade since almost the beginning and tommyinnit getting this rank is amazing. And I’m with Tommy I loved hypixel battle royale and really want it to return
