I hope one day Jamal will come back to England so that I can shake his hand to say a massive thank you because I wouldn't be where I am after 9 years of playing keys if not for GospelMusicians
Bro ... the only reason why I can play keys is all because of you. I learned everything I starter to learn from you when I was 16, I'm 31 and still refer back to your courses that i purchased years ago. Got nothing but love for you my brother
Great to see/hear you talk about sound phrasing again. Man just hearing you demo plugins and play off the rip has inspired WHOLE SONGS for me. For me you have and continue to fulfill your purpose. GODSPEED.
Ahhh Jesus!!! You are my hero Jamal. I'm so happy seeing you again. I gained momentum in my musicianship when I started digesting your tutorials about 15 years ago. God bless you senior. Am so happy seeing you. You are the man for me. Am now a father to many as well and I would say you made a tremendous input in my growth 😍😍😍😍
My role model and mentor, my story cannot be written without you. You had a great influence in me and I learnt a lot from you. Its great to have you back. Your student from Nigeria.
Hi Jamal, its great to see you. I was thinking about you the other day. Yes, its a great thought, more chords are great, but whatever you bring is always wonderful and is always a game changer. Thank you for these piano lessons "Melodic + Dissonance = Phatness" - Jamal Hartwell .Stay strong. 🎉🎉🎉❤

Jamal nice to have you back!! Yes there may be a lot of tight cats out there, but non breaks it down the way you do when you teach...You're a blessing to us, God bless you brother!
What plugin are u busy with....is it the Hammond Organ vst?...Am waiting ma bro.....Also great to see u start doing tutorials again..hope u will continue.
YOU MEAN 2-5-1 or 5-1 (with a tritone sub! The way it’s phrased here is so confusing and generally speaking it is not taught this way - at least not in jazz, which is what I do! For anyone reading, fatness is not the reason you can sub a 5 for a ‘flat 2’. The reason why tritones subs works is because the tritone in both the 5 chord and the flat 2 chord are the same. I.e if we took a 2-5-1 in the key of C it is Dmin, G dom, C maj. However if you substitute the G dom for a C sharp Dom …both the C sharp dom and G dom have a F and B which is a tritone!! Without that the sub generally doesn’t work! I hope this clears the air
