i got like a week ago a 2008 crown vic police interceptor with the street appearance package with only 52k miles on it. thing was used as a office car pretty much. absolutely perfect first car

Get the stock wheels on that car. I own an 03 cop car blue (dark metallic blue) LX Sport, all LX Sport have the floor shift, an unchiped engine … Marauder lite or a slightly tweaked old man mobile, is what I refer to mine as. Does your air ride work, unfortunately I had loaned mine to our son it had a problem and converted/destroyed the suspension, the after market parts are readily available and at a reasonable cost. My LX Sport is my second favorite car right behind my 94 Mark VII with it’s 4.6 4 cam.

I love my 2002 LX Sport only has 96k miles and it's the silver. Yours is sweet and I do like that color. For the right price, I would consider selling mine to someone that will give it a good home.

Never had a Crown Victoria but had 3 Grand Marquis’s including my present 2001 with the HPP option. A few years ago it should have bought a Grand Marquis LSE. It is Mercury version of the LX sport.

Also the Grand Marquis LSE plus the Signature Series Touring Sedan. The Lincoln version doesn't have a floor shifter but it does have the performance setup as the LX Sport and LSE.

I had a white '05 LX Sport with a floor shifter AND a factory ordered sunroof...yes in the glove box, the booklet had the original window sticker and the sunroof was paid extra. Loved it. Kinda regret selling it...guess I just didn’t like the color.

i like the mono chromatic paint, and the stock rims in my 04 sport better compared to the rims on the older lx sports, also dont forget the gran marquis floor shifter package as well. it may be even more rare : )

When I got mine 2 years ago it was a Toreador Red before I got it repainted bright red!!!!

So I was spoiled by keyless ignition remote start from an app. And automated door locks on my apartment. New Year’s Eve sober as hell I left my p71 running. It ran out of gas and drained the battery. LMAO. We got it running! I figured 132 amps at idle and a full tank of gas lol 200 amps with revs and most police equipment removed it should charge up. I’ll keep you posted lol. Currently 1 am. Staying up late I want the charge. I’d drive it but theirs 8 inches of snow right now. I barely made it to gas station. How did the police do it lol Cars terrible in snow. I do not know how you guys did it. And yes I think these cars are headed for classic status in good condition.

Mine had dark gray leather , a 355 rear . 5link , auto air ride , and the Romeo engine . In 2003 the only trim available was ls , the others got nixed . In 02 it was luxury n sport in o3 the nice soft touch door treatment was gone and a few other things to .

Would def recommend hp tuners. As a tuner. Way more adjustability and don't have to depend on anyone to tune your car... 4k!! Come to Texas. See those alot for alot less

I have a black 2002 with 60k miles. It’s clean. Like really clean. Maybe beyond clean. Do you know about the Mercury Grand Marquis LSE. Research them. Floor shifter 3.27 factory duel exhaust. I have an 05 grand Marquis with the premium package. So minus the floor shifter only. It’s got 3.27 dual exhaust. If I can find the LSE bucket seats I’ll buy them but I doubt I’ll find them so marauder seats most likely will be it. As for the center console it’ll be most likely a marauder minus the floor shifter. I don’t wanna cut it up and change the steering column. And yes I love my 2002 LX sport. But my 2005 Grand Marquis with the premium package is sick. Silver birch with light gray interior I think it’s called stone.

Straight from DHS, and I'm trying to figure out why there would be a single hole, size of a half dollar, in same location on each rear door, about halfway down approx 5 inches behind b-pillar. Anyone with idears? Other holes I can figure out, but not on the sides like that.

Lmao I just bought a 2002 crown Victoria lx with black interior and that red no center floor shifter but when I went to look at it I was like I've never seen a Vic with that red tone glad to know it's unique lol love the car hate the fuel economy and the those blasted power steering pumps and mine was and under cover car from rio grand Texas the pulled the interceptor motor out and installed the basic 4.6 but I found various wires bolt points and spots in the headlights meant for flashers and the transmission is worn out lmao but a solid crown Vic and I've got mad plans for it

'02 is the old school chassis not the Marauder chassis. I prefer the older chassis though, rides a lot better and easier to work on. Bilstein shocks are also available for the older chassis

Had the same car… can’t forgive myself for what I did to it. What I didn’t like is the fact there’s no key hole in the passenger door, and the airbag rear suspension. Other then that it was nice. The interior was A+. Be even rarer if you had one with a sunroof.
