This song always used to play on the radio in the McDonald's kitchen during my night shifts. This song has got me through my worst times, it got me to pay for my University. Nothing gets my energy through the roof like this song does.
I don't find the song comforting, it is somebody pretty codldy making distance and jduging whether somebody is 'upt ot heir stadnards'. The point is't that you shouldn't think really what happens adfter but are just willing to be 'dupe' even if nothing happens later, like idk if it should be a 'game' because this ironically creates a distance maybe im stupid
I first heard this song with my mom, when I was younger, I used to play this around her all the time when I seen her the very few times ive seen her, sadly she passed away a year ago💛
omg me too! my mom also passed away late 2021, I miss her so so so so much I still can't imagine how I'm supposed to live without her.. it really really hurts so much I would never wish this heartache on my worst enemy :( hope you are coping well, we got this!
My triplet 6 year old girls loved this song so much ,they used to go crazy pants , jump, dance the "Carlton ", sing along , do cartwheels, flips, and summer salts whenever this song played on the radio ! They would be out of breath by the time the song ended !
I didn't think this was the song I wanted, at first, because the intro is different, but it's the one! Also, I used to hear this all the time, then I forgot about it...
Me as a kid: I love this song, it's so friendly and happy! It's so nice that she just wants to come and say hello, what a lovely person! :D Me as an adult: Oh.
I thought Carly Rae Jensen sang this song 💀 I could’ve swore Anyways I’m here listening to old music. Personally I wasn’t doing well emotionally then even though I was a child but I definitely would go back to the early 2010s. Much better times.
...this song is just too good, many people over here heard this song in early 10s I heard it recently, I am a teen and love it as well I get the nostalgia as well This song mad our lives better(I might be stretching this but that's the TRUTH :) )
I am surprised to see that this is a 10 year old song, and that so many commentors say how they liked it when they were kids etc. I am 53 and never heard this song before. But it's catchy so I'll save it.
First time I was in Italy the bar in front of my hotel had this on every single day on loop from 8 pm to 4 am... now after a decade I heard it again and it's not bad
