Salaam my friend. One suggestion I do have if you’re open to it is look into the work of Dr. Joe Dispenza. His meditations have personally helped me deprogram and reprogram my thoughts on a Neurological level. Also he actually uses the EEG our brother here speaks about and brain maps students for scientific research as well to improve his work. He has a documentary being released soon called “Source: It’s Within You” which is very good. It’s about the groundbreaking science on how the mind via meditation can heal the body with a few friends of mine being interviewed too. You have to work on yourself as a man, you have to find yourself, find hobbies that define you like gym, chess, reading, etc and that you enjoy. A characteristic for a man should have before getting married is being responsible, strong physically and mentally, protective, can able to control himself in terms of lust so lower your gaze, be able to provide and the most important thing is to be close to Allah SWT, because if a man is close to Allah and a woman is close to Allah, they will attract each other naturally.
