Right? When i got my license suspended years ago, I had to get an ID that wasn't a driver's license. It was very easy to get. Dems act like minorities are too stupid to know how to do it. The reply was. if it's borrowed from the Federal Government, it is. Raskin replied that he was not aware of that. A Congressman, who has influence and the ability to steer federal funds should know the difference.
When I went to vote in Contra Costa County at Richmond Ca City Hall. I tried handing my ID to the person. I was told it wasn't needed. I didn't have to prove who I was. That's how Newsome got reelected I'm guessing.

This has been going on for years. Come here illegally then sign up for every benefit they did not work for and should not get. Go to any welfare or social security office and look for yourself. They get all of it at 3 times what an American gets. Years ago all the paperwork was printed in every foreign language and there are interpreters for all of them. Right, we've always had to show our ID to register to vote. This is just propaganda targeting our least educated. The sad truth is, the Republican party no longer has the numbers to win free and fair elections, and Gerrymandering and voter suppression are no longer working for them. 72% of their base is aged 65+, and the younger we go down the demographics, the further Americans lean left, with the 19-25 voting demographic being overwhelmingly left leaning. If the GOP doesn't drastically change their platform to attract younger and more educated voters, they've only got a decade or so left until they won't be any to win any elections.

I guess you don’t remember having had to prove your identity when you REGISTERED to vote. Since then, you have been issued one ballot (you are only allowed to legally vote ONCE per election). Have you been given more than one ballot? Have you somehow acquired more than one ballot? If you try to vote more than once, you have committed voter fraud, and it will be discovered, and you will be charged with that crime (and the additional vote(s) will be destroyed). Are you sure you understand how the system works? You only have to show ID to open your checking account. I don’t need to show it when I make a deposit or a withdrawal, and I doubt that you do unless there are special circumstances. Good grief, I can do any of that online or on my phone with the proper login name and password for my account. As for buying firearms, booze, and cigs, you show ID because there are AGE-related or criminal history restrictions. And of course you have to show your ID to get married; it’s a legally binding contract. Do you see the difference between those transactions and going to the polls to vote (or mailing in your ballot) AFTER you have legally registered (with proof of ID) to vote?

You can't vote in federal, state elections if you are not a citizen in the US. The US has a social security number system where the number is unique to every citizen. This prevents double voting and fraud. Needing ID here in the US to vote is excessive. You're only able to vote within your district in which you're registered. Like, a social security number is more powerful than an ID. You need a social security number here to get an ID usually anyways
When I went to vote, they glanced at my license. Then I told them that I lost my voters registration ID card and asked how I could get a new one. They scrambled around looking for an answer! Finally, someone found a phone # I could call. Shows you how much they care about being a legit voter!
That's not how it works. If you cast a provisional ballot, you have a certain number of days to prove that you are that person and that you can legally vote. If you don't, your ballot does not get counted.
In Arkansas they require a photo ID and a valid voter registration card. And they check every single one on their database before allowing you in. It should be like that in every state.
I know many citizens who choose not to drive, & thus have no drivers license, nor do they own motor vehicles. They do have state photo IDs, & are registered to vote. Therefore I respectfully disagree as to needing a drivers license.

First of all you have to sign up to vote and you have to sign in and they check your hand writing . Your voter card can be your ID no voter card no voting .

Right, to your point, the only thing that's changed at the border the past decade, is we've been making nearly double the amount of drug busts at the border the past 2 years. Right wing media claims that means there are twice as many drugs hitting our border, and left wing media claims it means we are stopping more drugs before they cross the border, than we were previously, mostly due to recent changes in immigration laws and increase of border security. If one is naive enough to fall for Right-Wing media though, you'd think we have some invasion at the border or something, while in reality, nothing has really changed the past 10 years.
