Marc, I have an idea. Would you consider organizaing a 2V2 where one team is Z&T producing only bio units and the other team P&T only producing mech units. It would be fun to see mass medivac and mass SCV repairs LOL. Thanks for considering
It might be a weird question because i dont play sc2 but most of the time i feel like uThermal micro a lot what he has left as an army while he's sittting on a big bank instead of building defensive turrets Like in the secons game why no use that 400 ressources to build more spore around his 2nd or even first base?

Larva production is annoying.. if you know its collapsing, Roaches are good solid cheap defensive unit, over marines. Seeing a medivac was visible in teh hatchery before death, so/ spore... most poeple woudl rather go for units before a spine, jsut for mobility defense which turns into an offence. You knwo a drop is coming so I would roaches so all larva are spent then into one spore per natural. We knwo hes on one base, so you just have a time limit ot balance out. Medivac makes terran army deceptivly effecient. SO meh... I would say over droned. When zerg is attacking if your not fully commited or you see them balancing out your movement, then its a time delay youve created, so you need ot build more units... to balance out with them. So meh... Roaches would of helped a lot, don't worry about saving some money, for a building as zerg since you can produce all units at once. SO another more advance strat with zerg is, one taping your hatcheries, so whe nhtey get three larva spend that one extra larva, so larva is lawys producing some sort of unit... so when hte building of the deried unit comes up. you mass produce this unit... 8-12 roaches.. probably 3-6 would of lived... and you would still have the queens... so the second attack you would have more roaches.. allowing you an easier time to defend... if your being attacked... double spore could be good idea... in a hatchery.. so how I look at it, is 5 spores early game isn't a bad loss for zerg s ince you can just move them around later ot your other expansion hatcheries, Zerg defensive buildings are great in teh sense you can move them where needed or to deter... so its cost investment is realyl good. but hydras are better if you get access. If you survived the second, it would be expand, and hydra den.. start producing hydras... and defend an dhten you go into lurker den, but don't spam your hydras into lurkers a few at first and have lings... but jsut... if a push fails... you need specific units... to defend effectively... in this case you knew it was a drop of about 8 marines... with a medivac... delaign with marines splahs and single target fire is best, tsi why range of roaches or hydras are better then lings, lings cna soak up damage, but the aibltiy to target fire units (not too much overkill - early) you cna reduce the use of hte medivac and stim power.
I don't know if it would work, but I would like to see queens and nydus. Like never stop producing queens, if the hatchery isn't busy making a queen you are doing it wrong. I feel like maybe you could start a proxy hatch somewhat close just to get some creep up to the front of the base and then nydus somewhere else. One problem I notice with queens is surface area because they are so big, so you might have to fight on 2 fronts for efficiency.
second game super cringe and super bricked and so dumb. Predicts attack, sits does nothing. Makes 1 spine, loses hatch. makes 2 spores. Loses spore, doesnt bother sending the other spore to the fight. That would have went completely different if you made 3 spores and 3 spines like 30 seconds earlier. Is this some kind of weird pro player autism, where losing or keeping a reeaper or a drone is huge, but then whole games are tossed in the trash without even trying.
That was awesome to see the first game. I just started playing SC2 after discovering your videos and I have so much to learn... I just finished my placements yesterday & I placed gold 3. I've lost most of my games except like 2 or 3 but it's been pretty fun so far. No negativity so far and it's much less toxic than league of legends. I don't feel i should have placed gold 3 but I'm gonna try & make it work. The only games I seem to win are the ones where I survive an initial attack and then build air as protoss. But obviously I need to get better with my initial game ground forces
i'm 38, haven't played starcraft 2 since the expansion packs hit. I love your content, so fun I might just pick up the game again for old times sake. Maybe my son would enjoy the playing :0
I recently got into WC2 and have watched most of ur recent videos. I really wish we could use the other commnadors in pvp, i never play pvp bc its already hard to play with terrain or even protos 😂 but i can definitely play stukov 😏
Idk if zergs still have any mind control unit... but if it has @uThermal wouldn't it be nice to have a challenge where you MC the opponent's SCV or protos drone and then build a combo of their units with zergs? xD
2nd game you said you're not happy with your zerg gameplay but i really disagree ! You took a nice advantage, defended the counter then overdrone and die ... it's spot on zerg gameplay X)

10:17 exactly why i send overturds to every corner of the map, or i put them over expansions.. they remain safe and provide constant scout info.. when they are clumped in the main they die to a drop, then you have no supply! T_T
I don't know why you were happy with the cheese of the second game. I thought the terran definitely came out ahead in that exchange. I felt like you were on the defense the whole time.
5:50 i bet if you created two drones and then waypoint to your cheese hatch it would be better than pulling drones already on the mineral line :) (which youd need to replace)
Honestly very nice seeing that second game. It's so common for me to end up in a good situation, but throw the game through one or two bad plays, so it's really nice seeing that that can happen to someone like you too. Fantastic to see how you handle it, going through what you could've done better when viewing the replay
I'm confused about that alejandro game. All we did was built a hatch in terran's natural and dealt no other damage, and we are in a "fantastic" position? What the hell am I supposed to do as terran when zergs do this? Just gg out?
I think with how much you're doing in these games, it's basically necessary to put a Photon Cannon on the edge of bases no matter what, just to stop drops because of how hard they can hit
First game; So most of the time the initial sieging ( tactical manuevar to blockade your enemy in. ) Typically the most crucial point of receiving nad early rush against you is money management, YOu need ot trade effeciently... What would I have done... bunker, no addon. marine. debate if I want siege tank or banshe. I probably would go starport and into banshee, but there is a risk of a queen walk with it, so if yo uahve a scout still on the map, having them in the pathing area for the queen would be important... get an orbital up and mule mine so you can more effeciently manage your scvs'. Other interesting holds are building a cc and a fortress on the cliff but that is a huge investment. Starport into banshee, banshee and then medivac cna really help... Barracks. Cancel, cc, cancell second baracks and starport is typically more valuable against 90% of the zerg plays, as key weakeness in the species. Are. Zerg weakness is early Air. Queens are okay. If they do queen walk the Banshees can typically destroy the income and relaly kills off the rush. Tanks are nice, but if htey get in it cna be terrible so typically bio units from terran are great, after teh starport get a second barracks, and then build the add on, while one is always pumping out untis to defend. THe weakness for protoss is revealing cloaked units... Since observers are high up on the tech tree. Why is cloaked u nits so good against protoss its that your photon cannons are coistly to get unlocked. All revealing is second tier buildings. Terran has the best with orbital command being a tier one upgrade, simpyl needs barracks.. Zerg can build spore colonies that are enabled in its tier line and are relatively effective, and move and self repair... Lair unlocks overseers, which is a second tier... Protoss main weakness is vision. While zerg is like a bug, and constnatly stepped on by air, but the air itself of zerg once up is effective. COmmon old strategies is going air as terran, and then active scouting, so they cannot ever get up a spire... that was my bane as playing zerg, Overlord sniping and people killing my spires of love.. I would often build two in a game, for how much I valued it. That is why I think protoss allowing sentries to use their guardian shield as a way to see clocked units would be a tier 1 revealer, with warp gate this means they can get sight quickly. Observors are too slow... often... I would take a faster observor wit ha super slow deploy time... Its simply becasue of the chain of structures needed means the time to do x is delayed. Terran has access to all things tier one tree. IE effective air and cloak defence. Zerg... has effective cloak defence but lacks air defence early. Queens are okay-ish, before queens typically see fast lairs ,because others would oftne use air against zerg.
..ok my man... Last game was good.. But the early aggresive expo is the shit! If you can make it work it would be absolutely phenomenal! ..maybe biulding a spine/spore asap to increase the pressure? and then queen for the heals/creep. It would be demoralising for the enemy to say the least!
9:59 per usual, whether it be bronze or grandmaster, all terrans are paralyzed with fear about what a zerg can do to them.. i've never ever met a terran who would come out from behind his wall, they bunker in and turtle and the cancer metasticizes so deeply, by the time they poke out they have lost the whole map to my greed expands.. i reached high diamond at my best..
