The locomotive in your video is an EMD F40PH. Amtrak (U.S.) retired its fleet of F40PHs in the early-2000s replaced by the GE Genesis, but the locomotive is still the mainstay of VIA Rail's long-distance trains. That was probably the Jasper-Prince Rupert train.

Thanks Chrome for modelling the appropriate response when you saw the bear. You stopped your vehicle and allowed the bear to make its own choice about when to get off the road. Yeah, beautiful views out your side window. Those mountains are beautiful along the railroad tracks there. Yeah I’m here crew 4:20 PM Tuesday, September 17 only have to work till Thursday and then I’m off to Grand Rapids Michigan one of our big RC events last year had over 600 little tiny trucks registered Will be out in the woods for three days camping and driving our 1/10 scale trucks.
