I can´t help myself, but every time I hear her singing, I am falling in love with this woman over and over again!... pure beauty and perfection. She doesn´t have to fill the magazines. She is the artist by soul and that is more than anything!
I love the live version but I would absolutely love a studio version. it would get a million plays a day on my iPod. please do a studio recording of the this. please. not afraid to beg.
Many artists (and she has said she does this too) record many many songs at a time and some make the cut and some don't. They either perform them only in concert or save them for a future. The only album I feel this song would have fit is her ep Once Upon Another Time. I think she reserves it for her concerts as a look into what she thinks love should truly be about at its very core. Wanting nothing but the other person.
We saw her in Austin last week. She indeed confirm that this will not be on her next record. She said she may not even want to record it because she wrote it as a love song to her fans and would like to keep it between all of us
She announced it at a different concert, right before singing the song -- she said something like, "This next song won't be on my next record but I just really love it." And I've heard that confirmed from other concerts as well. She actually wrote it while writing/recording Little Voice and it obviously didn't make that album either. :(
