The 90s was the last living era of country music which is sad people who sung country music and new who sing real country music will never make it on the radio now days maybe on 92.5 wesc South Carolina best country and your all time favorites I love that station when I listen to the radio they play mostly 70s and 80s country music and some 90s except on Sunday they play 50s and 60s country music

I got a guitar pick from Mark back in the 90's at Bear Creek in Amite Louisiana. He was just getting to go big with Too Cold at Home. I was still in High school at the time. Great memories that I will never the forget. I was just learning how to play the guitar at the time and while all my buddies were off honky tonkin' and chasing girls I was right in front of the stage and Mark handed it to me. You would have thought I lost my virginity that night.

I miss this kind of stuff. Country music long ago gave up heart for spectacle, cliched lyrics, and pandering to the largest common demographics to boost sales. Media cares more about Carrie Underwood's legs than about paying attention to what she sings.
