That is exactly how i felt... I am 60 years old army from south korea... Since then ...there is no oneday passing without watching them.... Good people notice the good people......

The amount of content BTS posts, is the equivalent of a friend checking in on you to make sure you're well.

'I think it'd be cool just to hang out...' I, personally, think that that right there is one of the many reasons why they are so popular. We love the fact that they are just like us - approachable, relatable, down to earth...with real feelings and real insecurities and they are not ashamed or afraid to wear their collective heart on their sleeve.

All of her videos are amazing! She also has a couple "Nobodies to Legends" videos that are definitely worth a watch. They will tug your heartstrings to see how far they've come.

One of the reflections of how potent and caring Army is would be to look at the comments on the RU-vid reaction videos. I can't tell you how many reactors have said how warm and welcoming Army is to them in their comments.

Way to go on knowing all the names....they change their looks so often that it's very hard at first. I find it so impressive that BTS always give all the credit for their success to ARMY despite the years and years of grind they have put into their craft. Too many artists forget who got them to the top once they get there. It's true that they want to make genuine connections with their fans. V once said that in a concert, he doesn't see the crowd as a mass of people, but rather tries to make direct eye contact with as many fans as possible. They are some well raised men who have remained humble kings throughout the years and constantly strive to better themselves. I really feel that you would love and appreciate "The Rise of Bangtan" series. It will give you such a deeper insight into them as people and their amazing journey....the story is told chronologically through old footage of them through the years and is so well done. I think you become ARMY the moment you realize that you just wanna be their friends. Maybe it comes from years of doing vlive & RU-vid streams but the way they talk to ARMY & as a group, you feel included, like you really are a part of them & w/e they are doing. Watching their run episodes every week really was the best part of my week & I hope it comes back once they get their military enlistment figured out

I’m so glad you’re able to recognize how America’s reaction to BTS is like the Beatles. Especially the reaction from men. The same is true for Frank Sinatra and Elvis. The most frustrating part is that the people who hated in the beginning rarely admit they were wrong and that a mostly female fanbase had been right all along. So many men I’ve met will even gatekeep the Beatles now. When I’d talk about loving them, I’d often get “oh yeah, name 3 songs” type responses. And look at who mostly love Sinatra now in movies/films: male characters. Or the subculture of Elvis impersonators. These artists are beloved among men now, but go watch an old concert and you see an audience full of women who were ridiculed/belittled for their love of these artists who are now considered legends. You’d think people would learn, but as we can see with BTS, they don’t.

I think that Army mostly wants to get a chance to show people who the guys really are. Really sincere artists who want to make the world brighter with their art. It tends to make us a bit over whelming feeling and I do feel your sincerity enjoy your journey with them.

You would be surprised at how much of a big impact BTS has on different academic fields. They have a lot of influence reading and literature, psychology professors have discussed them, economists and marketing majors as well. There are articles reporting on how BTS is discussed in different academic fields.

i always say we and BTS are in a closed feedback loop of mutual reciprocity. they give us good music/performances/content, we repay them by supporting it to the best of our abilities. they repay us by giving us more good music/performances/content, we repay them by supporting it. it's an endless loop. even on a smaller level, we give them encouraging, grateful messages and they turn around and give us the same. it's just mutual reciprocity founded on appreciation and respect, it's the only reason any of this works. I'd say it's a good 50/50 of us and the boys doing our bests for each other and trying to let each other know

yup, you get it! when I'm asked what makes BTS so special, the first thing I say is their sincerity.

So relatable what you said about wanting to be part of the group even without singing and dancing because, well, same 😅 I wish I could at least have a conversation with them and say thank you. Unfortunately it'll never be possible because I can't even go to a show to see them from a distance (long story) so, well, it is what it is.

I am a 53 year old from the United States and I love these guys they have a great message through their music and I love to watch them dance!

I saw the video that you did about army and cried at the end. we are so glad you are apart of the army. We are not just a fandom we are a family we will help you anyway we can. I would like to share a personal story with you and the rest of army. When I was 5 years old I was in a car accident and hurt my back and I’m in a wheelchair. I’ve always try to be as positive as I can but it’s hard sometimes because people always look at me differently and I didn’t love who I was or what I looked like. I am 27 I’ll be 28 July 9th BTS and all the amazing army have helped me love myself. People always find BTS and army when they need it the most I’m sorry if this post is really long!💜

This video is a bit old so BigHit actually renamed the company to HYBE and BTS is now under BigHit Music in the HYBE corp. Hitman Bang has also stepped down as CEO but he is still working as a producer and chairman. If I got anything wrong army correct me ^^ HYBE also acquired Ithaca holdings in America and now Justin beiber, ariana grande, J balvin and so many other artists are now under the HYBE corporation so BTS has literally taken over the music industry ^^ For an updated version of who BTS are I really recommend BTS Member Introduction by Taylor Nakamoto. She currently has the best compilation and accurate story of each member's story

(Also, I rarely hear them or anyone use Beyond the Scene these days for them, correct me Army if I'm wrong. ) OK I really love xCeleste and am so glad you watched this, but STILL think there are some better intros for them as individuals that would be worth you watching, that one I said before, by SUGA and spice called "Who is BTS the Seven Members." It's funny too. BTW there is a new BTS census that they are doing, we are trying to get everyone to take it, to update these stats about the demographics. Look it up, ARMY!

If you watch (don't have to react) to all their stuff outside MV as Bon Voyage, In the Soop, the 3 concert movies and documentery and Run BTS, Bangtan Bombs you will see their personalitys and you will love them more. It is filmed during a lot of years and no one can fake for that long. They really are what you see from more official occasions. And you will also have a lot of laugh, they are not only musicians and good dancers, all comedians should be grateful BTS not choosed that path! They are natural hilarious. 😆

They are great artists, performers, their songs are so good but ultimately they are amazing good human beings and I feel so related to them. I really love them. Not on a romantic way. I mean, I want them to he happy and if I can do something to help them I will. That's the way ARMY feels and that's why we are so intense. In a good way. 💜🙂

Congratulations 👍 on getting their names all correct. At the beginning it was Jimin and J-Hope I had trouble with - from certain angles I found their jawlines quite similar. But one day I realized I could tell them all apart without even thinking about it; even with their ever changing hair colours and styles. Sometimes even a simple movement is enough; and you realize they all have unique ways of moving - even micro-movements, that you start subconsciously picking up on.💜

xCeleste is just true gem. I completely agree with anyone else who suggested "Nobodies to Legends". Also The Most Beautiful Life Goes On by Rice Squad (Formerly Asian Theory)- there's a 2022 updated version. I've been watching since your Spring Day reaction- and I'll be honest, I was hesitant at first. I feel like there's usually two ways things can go. Either you can actually get to know BTS and Army, or just just judge on surface value and start adding to the negative stigma that surrounds us. And I you did pick a really tough one to start with because Spring Day isn't only meaningful to Bangtan and Army, but to the citizens of SK and victims of the tragedy. I think most of us try to be extra respectful because of that. Sorry, I'm rambling- but my point is this; You're clearly a really nice guy who genuinely wants to learn and grow. I appreciate that so much and I know other Armys do too. And yes, watching you in these last two video especially- My friend, you are definitely baby Army! I liked your reaction. 💜 Bang gave up on the CEO position because he wanted more time to make music and someone professional should be CEO. (Both dancing on the left side of the MV of "Permission to Dance" at the end pretty wildly). The company stiles itself a family, too. The tagline isn't there anymore sadly. BTS label is now "Big Hit Music" and the corporate part is now HYBE which has a few more labels (and an American part - they bought Ithaka Holdings - and a Japanese part - where Enhypen's brother group is set to debut - hopefully soon) Bundling doesn't count anymore. (But people are already inventing new tricks.) The Beatles were called "the British Invasion" or at least the start of it. And "female teenagers must me hysteric" was a wide spreed opinion. Funnily enough at their first TV appearence in the US people expected to hear different music. Do you know what was successfull fighting on the charts than? Musical songs. I found that fact fascinating. Paul McCartney was interviewed in fall of 2020 and asked if he believed that there were still authentic musicians now. (Hint: The interviewer didn't believe so). MCCartney dropped BTS name and said that they reminded him of the Beatles than. If you want more context try *bby* *gang* *mag* and his video essays and/or *"The* *Rise* *of* Bangtan* -series. 😘 You nice! Keep going! (You are doing great!)

Beatles are nice, but i think they were told "you are like Beatles" in every other interview or show while they were promoting overseas, so they were pretty much done with it. if you ever watch american interviews with bts, you'll understand how... shallow these interviews are. they mull over the same things years by years rarely even bothering to get familiar with bts' artistry. i tell you armys have developed an allergy already to questions like "who you want to collaborate with?" and "rm you learned english from Friends, right?". it's painful lol

There's no way only 4% of fans are in their 50's. I know a massive amount of 4%ers. LOL. Me included ! :)

Haha, I cheered for you when you got their names right. I remember struggling with that in the beginning too, specially since they changed their haircolour all the time. I appreciate you doing the same thing I did- where I found myself saying sorry so much it became frustrating to myself and others, So I began to be more assertive and confident in my opinions and statements. I don't know how to explain this really, just that you kind of self-manage in real time rather than thinking on it and "planning to do it later" you know? JK's name can be pronounced either way. Jungkook is English pronunciation, Jungguk is Korean. Both are accurate. Same way that Tzuyu from TWICE is known both by Sooyoo and Chewie. Weird fact: Hobi (Jhope) said Cheesy but it was subtitled as Corny. It's interesting and odd. I'm so excited for you to see their old looks. There's probably video quizzes on RU-vid for it specifically lol

Everybody mixes up some of them at first and it is almost always jungkook and v lol maybe bc they’re the two youngest and tend to sometimes have similar hairstyles and sometimes they are styled very similarly which can be confusing until you get to know them. The older members used to accidentally call one of them by the others name bc they said they’re so similar and like the same person in two bodies lol also v actually guessed wrong when they were picking out baby pics or parts of baby pics and he thought a photo of jungkook was himself 😂 I think that lets us off the hook . Their body types are pretty easy ways to tell them apart bc jungkook is one of the most buff and got a very muscular body… Tae is one of the more slender members that doesn’t really work out a lot…. Jungkook is known for having doe eyes and Tae is known for having big eyes. Jungkook is always smiling and laughing which is the most contagious sound in the world… and he’s called a bunny bc he scrunches his nose and his teeth look like bunny teeth sometime when he does that lol Tae likes to be seductive so generally if they’re doing photos he’s finding some way to stick out his tongue or do some other seductive pose or something lol likes to use lollipops for props and he’s extremely extra. Jk dresses kinda emo still here used to only wear black and combat boots kinda things after his timberland phase… Tae is very fashionable and loves art and antique looking things… I call his style of dress “grandpa chic,” bc sometime it looks like he chose clothes from my grandpas closet… but he somehow makes it look so chic and fire… I don’t know how to explain it. Lol that’s tmi I’m sure but you’ll figure it out. Maybe watch a solo or jungkook and one of v to help? Compilation or one of their solo songs and or something? May help you recognize them easier anyway but you’re doing fine

They cannot be more genuine, sharing their schedules, how tired they were, how a song is not coming up as they want to... (esp RM, Suga, JHope... and the maknae line being worried about them, and some simple approach, yet insightful views of our very own Jin). When an award show or concert is done, they usually go directly back to their hotel and do a live with us (sometimes all of them, sometimes just 2 or 3 or 1). And directly I mean 30min-1h after it's finished. They talk to us as audience, or to each other, and depending they read and answer comments (apart from "Yoongi marry me" :)) There is this legend that says some woman artist asked for some member phone number and he gave her his manager's phone number. As they say in a song "we are not celebs, we came to celebrate" (music, art, life, love) and recently attending to AMAs they were in a car and Jimin said to RM "wait, we ARE celebs now" and he replied something like "seems like it" but looking out of the window pensive. This man, RM, has shared how he goes on raids for Pokemon Bread (a snack with collectionable(?) Pokemon cards/stickers) and how he's sent his parents on their town to grab some for him as well as friends following the delivery truck T_T he's adorable. We are used to read about how X artist DEMANDS X brand of water and X purifier and X type of food. They are just 7 guys, and that's why we all just want to hang out with them. They eat whatever, they sleep however, whenever. In another LA vlive, Jhope was showing his hand washed socks T-T that he hung out to dry... Like, come on! Love them or love them. Period.
