Thanks for your time and effort brother in making this video. I will add to what you said . For a person to understand an Arabic book for a certain subject be it tafseer, hadith and fiqh, one need a teacher in that field to be able to understand the Arabic commentary on the said subjects. You cannot just carry a medicine book, and think that just because you know English you can read and understand that book and can even perform operations, that's is the reason we go to school to learn. My advise is, any book you want to study you should find a teacher in that subject to teach you and to also clarify any doubts you have.

This isn’t necessarily true

It also is different from one field to another. Like the word khabar means something different in nahu and balaghah

ASA! Shu'kran for the clarification and informative info on slowing it down a bit to understand what we're doing as far as learning the interpretations of the arabic subject barriers etc! Jazakallahu Khairan 💙

really need a grounded shaykh or ustadh to study eith. Reading a matn alone is difficult cuz of the concise words . I have read a liiiitle but of the hanbali book akhsar al mukhtasaraat and literally one word is so crucial and carries so much ruling. الحمد لله. Even a tashkeel can change meaning وُضوء is the act of wudu and الوَضوء is the water used for wudu.

Assalamu Alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh. If you struggle with guidance try an institute **cough cough** Andalus Institute. However, don't forget to read outloud and revise the words you memorise, that is extremely important. News articles are written in Fusha so if you are studying a dialect it will be different. Also find the level you are at, memorise words you don't understand and revise then slowly move up bi'idnillah. Baarik Allahu feekum

I’ve always wondered this but I assumed it was my lack of knowledge in the language 😂. Now I know it isn’t.

So basically it's one more lie of Arabs, when they say "just learn Fusha and you could understand our ancient books, our language hasn't changed for 1000 years". First of all, it has changed and modern dialects are no "accents" but different languages which have developed their own rules. Then MSA is also not a Classical Arabic, and you'll need a special training if you want to understand ancient scholars or poetry. You need to learn, learn, learn more. The question though is Arabic really worth to waste all your life? You can probably learn all main European languages, or Japanese+Chinese instead in the same period of time, and it will be more useful. At least for me.

to me you sound like a mad immature person, first never seen someone say that arabic didn't change, it surly did, but the fusha still exists, second fusha is actually the language of the old books, but there are many vocabulary in arabic that isn't used in everyday life which makes it look like a different language and you can learn the classical arabic without wasting your entire life lol
