Jungkook, I have a BTS theory about their future mixtapes and or albums.
This Falling cover was just too beautiful and I expected nothing less from Jungkook.
I could be wrong but I believe BTS are making these amazing covers so they can reach a broader audience before really dropping fire music on us. Honestly, it would all make sense (just my theory though) to grab as many ears as possible before Bighit / HYBE start to put out BTS solo projects.
I just know with every drop of blood in me that Jungkook and Taehyung solo projects are going to take over the music scene.
Thanks BTS, now I'm hella excited over music again LOL!!!

Actually he has always had this deep voice. Jin and him sing a duet of "Wild Flower" karaoke style in an arcade. Find the video on RU-vid. They both are amazing in their lower range voice. I promise....it's always been there. He is just now showcasing it! Jin is my bias and I want Jin to do a cover of "Wild Flower" by himself. But, dang, JK "kills" this song. In fact, it is my favorite song of the whole year!!!

@@ideagirl so true, that lower register of his has been a thing for quite a while, it’s just terribly underutilized for songs in BTS. Decalcomania and Wild Flower is probably the best example of this. When I first heard his low register, holy moly … I love his low tone so much. Not taking anything away from his upper register, I love that too, but damn the lower notes just get me every time. He also did a singing room session with the song “It’s So Hard To Face You”, it’s on the BangtanTV channel listed as “Kook in a singing room (2)”, that is also worth a listen. That also shows how good his breath control is. Also his first two lines of Pied Piper he sings lower too, it’s just so unbelievably beautiful.

Jungkook has a texture in his tone and he is able to deliver his emotions without being over dramatic. He has a wide range and it’s almost like he’s talking to you. His pitch is perfect. THEN! his voice is just candy to my ears! Sweet, sticky, intense flavor and I just can’t get enough. If he’s happy, I’m happy. If he’s angry, I’m angry. If he’s sad, I’m sad. That’s how I feel after listening to this song on repeat for like 7 hours yesterday. I am fucking in love. btw, I’m unsure if V can hold a high note like JK did where that “AGAIN” word hit. I mean JK is a tenor.

I love the original but JK brings something different to the song. I get teary every single time, it is so gentle and powerful all at the same time. He was born to be a singer, he conveys emotional impeccably. Just perfection.

I know how you feel, I became BTS fans right after ON kmf released and JK been my bias since day 1.. and since jpin the fandom.. Any song so far that JK covers sounds better than the original. Yes he gives me chills when he sings the Falling part. And its crazy because BTS and JK is the reason I know about certain songs like Fix You and now this. BTS can cover the damn National Anthem and I'll even appreciate it. I was thinking the same because he said he has felt lost and losing his passion because Army isn't there to perform to, so I'm wondering if it's not he's worried he's losing us. What's crazy is that apparently this is a really personal song for Harry Styles but when I listened to his version, I only felt the emotions build up more towards the end. With Jungkook however, I could feel the emotions literally from his very first word. Such a beautiful cover and the emotions really got me in my feels 😭💜

You know what, JK always sings a song for ARMY. Maybe this song meant pesonal to him too. Take from the lyrics, he might also feel that he has become someone that has disappointed ARMY bcoz of his tattoes, piercings or ad back door issue. He has had so many hatred and criticism lately, so i wonder might be somehow this song relateable to him

For me, JK always brings a unique emotion to the songs he sings. To this cover, when I heard Harry's version, my only impression was that it was a beautiful sad song but when JK sang it, it felt different. It's the same feeling as his cover of Bieber's 10,000 hours.

Harry Styles has just been blessed by JK by covering his song. We all know everything they touched turns to gold. More people will definitely know about Harry Styles and this song. That's what happened to “Stay" by Justin Bieber and Kid Laroi after JK sung their song in his Vlive. Many people got to hear and appreciated the song after hearing it from JK, it even topped the Billboard 100 remember! BTS always makes great song covers.

I only heard and watched it one time and immediately forgot about it. But this cover of JK, the way he sings it, hits differently. JK’s vocals have always been amazing, but we got to hear his lower register, which we don’t hear to much of. His vocals have matured and evolved so much that there is pretty much not a song out there he couldn’t sing and make his own. He is a phenomenal vocalist. Literally such a young legend.

My first reaction was goosebumps and hairs standing up on and off throughout the song. The only word I could call it was stunning. Now I have heard it a couple of times beautiful and world class come to mind. He has really come into his own on this like its a more mature theme and he sings deeper too and with a rasp!! 1st, It's JK of BTS, he can do anything. Nice Cover! I've listened to the original by Harry Styles. And it's good. But I'm so proud of JK, he made it his own. Super talented. I'm OT7. "It's hella good!" Agreed ! If and when BTS is over...JK could become the number one male soloist in the world!! His lower range voice in this song is stunningly exquisite! He captured my heart, my soul, my breath, my everything!!! Brava to JK! His English pronunciation is stellar. That high note is so heavenly. I wish JK had edited the song and sang that particular line with the high note twice!! I have been watching reactions to this song all morning. Everyone is getting goosebumps!!! JK‘s cover sounds so vulnerable and even more sad. I love it, when his voice sounds as if it falls apart in the second verse and the high note. It is a very emotional cover and I loved it. 💜 His pronunciation is incredible. I‘m glad that we can hear more of his lower register, belting of high notes and raspiness, which he barely uses in BTS‘s songs. Edit: I have to disagree with you regarding the business move. I think JK‘s covers has always been his own project and maybe are encouraged by Bighit but definitely not pushed. If this had been a strategic business move, Bighit would have posted it at least on twitter. Bighit didn’t do anything. it was just uploaded on youtube by JK without any message or anything. That‘s a very Jungkook way to do it, because he has always dropped something out of nowhere and then left social media, for example his dis-ease bridge in the middle of the night and then he went to sleep and left a chaos on social media 🤣

I think this song shows off JKs lower register really well. In a lot of his other covers and even in Still With You it showcases his falsetto and upper register voice. It’s really nice to more of his vocal range in the songs that he sings and covers.

I had never heard this song either. As I commented to my other favorite reactors BTS, you can hear the emotions and it sounds so sad, it makes me tear up. There is another song Winterbear by Tae, which makes me cry, the music is so sad. JK’s vocals are amazing, the rasp in his voice!!!💜💜💜💜

I am not an emotional person, very few things can make me cry so I became a fan of BTS because I heard JK's cover of If You on the masked singer. His voice alone stirred something in me that no one else has ever done to a point that I had to check him out and that's the start of my ARMY origin story as I ended up in love with all the boys. That being said, JK is and still remains my bias to this day because only his voice can actually bring tears to my eyes. This cover was so raw, emotional and beautiful and even when I thought he could not top himself, he surprised me again. I never heard this song before and I did go check out the original. Harry sings it beautifully but i was not moved to tears in the same way that I cried when I listen to JK's version. JK truly has unlimited potential.

The first time i heard this i felt like i was in the edge of a cliff and i swear i even felt the wind with my whole body...feels like flying and dreaming at the same time. This cover literally left me in goosebumps and didn't realise I was tearing up either when I heard this yestersay 🥺🙃💕 I'm hoping (only a theory in my head) the album JJK1 is about his journey with himself, kinda like a music diary/journal if you will. From debut days to now and the struggles he went thru within himself as well as the amazing achievements too. About his good days and bad days and his worst of days. His emotions and lyrics reflecting on those few passages he may have written about how he feels. With the song My Time being such an eye opener for us all, I'm hoping this is the vibe from his future album! Because in some what way it may be a way to stress release aswell

JK was phenomenal hands down, his lower registers were insane. We heard his High notes but this cover was incredible. His Voice is that of an Angel.

Charlie, your smile makes my day. Keeping you in my prayers! This song is so so so good. I have to shut my eyes and just soak it in. Despite some of the lyrics it’s strangely healing for me. It makes me wanna do better…..you know? Either way ……. Total masterpiece. Creds to Harry Styles as well!

JK has proven to be an incredible storyteller and he took it to another level with this song! The amazing thing about this song is that JK sings it as if he wrote, he lived it, etc. which is the true testament of a brilliant vocalist / artist. The reason why this song hits hard is it is based on Harry's break up with his ex and the emotion are so raw (hat's off to Harry for pouring his heart out)! This rendition (for me) is right up there with Whitney Houston's rendition of "I Will Always Love You" (written and originally done by Dolly Parton) This JK right here....genius and an instant classic!!!!💜

JK did an AMAZING job covering 'Falling'! I absolutely love this cover and will definitely be listening to it over and over again. I do prefer Harry Styles' original version. It's his story and his words so immediately the raw emotion in his voice seems to resonate more. I think his grittier voice helps with this too. I admit I am biased because it is one of my favorite songs and I have been listening to it ever since Harry's most recent album came out. Also, his performance of this song at the Brit Awards had me in tears. You should really watch it sometime. I adore JK's version and he really brings something of himself to the song which is beautiful. Very few times (maybe only once or twice) have I heard this singing style from JK and I am hungry for more. I love hearing all of the different sides to his voice. What's next? Opera? Yodeling? Throat singing? 😂 I am so excited for his mixtape!! I am very thankful to Jk for covering 'Falling'. It was such a gift. 💜

Jungkook actually always made covers of English and Korean songs ever since their debut years. Jungkook just loves singing a lot and he likes picking songs that send a specific message of what he's usually feeling as he mentioned before in a tweet that we should go through the lyrics of the songs he covers as it'll give it a different feel :) and this cover was released on the anniversary of the last day of their tour back in 2019 :(

I think artists do covers 2 ways. 1. Try to sing as close to the original as possible. 2. Sing it their own way and make it different. Jungkook nailed this, you should listen to the original by Harry. The MV is strikingly beautiful.

This cover is fire!!! I've heard the original, and it's a great song. But, you know when JK sings something, it just hits different! As for a JK solo, I'm here for it. BUT, I think we need a new BTS album and tour first (fingers crossed!!!). Another thing I've been thinking about... Although we don't want to talk about it, we all know that enlistment is around the corner for at least half the members. They may choose to all go at the same time. BUT, what if JK doesn't go since he still has another 5 years? Maybe he'll sit back and do a solo album instead? I don't know, there are a lot of possibilities. I don't think the fans can handle a total break from ALL the members for almost 2 years. It'll be interesting to see what happens.

I think he fully relates to this currently. Per the lyrics explanation: In the chorus of “Falling,” Harry Styles continues to blame himself for all the bad things that befell him. He questions himself of the person he has become or is becoming. He fears that he will grow into someone even he himself can’t stand to be with. That is one of the worst things that could happen to an individual-you lose yourself.

Jungkook has been doing cover since debut as gift for fans... I don't think it's because of his mixtape. He just dropped this out of nowhere didn't promote it anywhere. It's probably just a gift. And there are many voice in the world that fits this song and very few can pull it off and do justice. And fyi bighit didnt do shxt for this cover. Didn't even do the bare minimum of tweeting the damn link.
