Man I wish I had a mentor like Shaq. Hands down I am always impressed by him, not just his accomplishments but just even in the way he is able to express himself.
@@BrownTrout1238 100% man, why would anyone go out of their way to improve their life like they want to, seems a little counter intuitive. Americans I guess
@@phantom8699 100% why would anyone want to push positivity instead of constantly degrading people they don’t even know. And I can pretty much guarantee you that america has more economic output than wherever you live. Clearly you didn’t listen to the rock when he said “its about drive, it’s about power”
Shaq: “coaching don’t matter” “there’s no strategy in basketball, just put your jockstrap on and play” Also shaq: “I know what the hell im talking about”
I mean seriously, how many “great coaches” won, without multiple great players.. coaching is most important during developmental years. e.g. youth-early adulthood. After that, it’s the Players that contribute the bulk to winning.

@@maxhardy3052 no not at all....I am deeply devoted to my children and there is no question about it...they know the door swings open for any thought or need
He's clearly satisfied with his dad's presence in his life while he's living with his mom otherwise he wouldn't have said it like that. So doesn't sound like it'd be a reason for him to move.
Children of divorce typically live with the mother, so now he wants to live with his dad because he knows the man is a gd living legend/champion. It's not a dad/son thing, he wants coaching from the greatest center of all time.
So just because Shaq sucked at shooting, he can't make his son do shooting drills?? His son also isn't 7'1 290lbs like Shaq was so he can't get by without shooting
Shaq is definitely gonna make em a great player in the future. He’s gonna get him to the next level eventually. He has a lot to learn and grow. But he’ll get there.
@miko foin lol cut the shit. Sports are going in the direction of being populated by ex player's kids, that have had a silver spoon in their mouth since birth.. but they have a given talent. So they use it.
Shaq knew damn well his son wasn’t gonna get to the next level, when he told him to run 100 jump shots and didn’t even do a jump shot in his first try.
Lol also how is a player who played center and had no jump shot, going to teach his son who plays a completely different position how to get to the league? That next level is called money and connections 😂
I was just thinking the other day about the idea of a barber shop with some sort of food and/or drink counter/area as a business, but I'm also a person who looks at the ground when walking a lot, and did so while walking out of a barbershop one time. This place had a lobby that separated the storefront from the haircutting area, yet there was still just a crap ton of hair on the mat. It gets EVERYWHERE. Just seems like a barbershop would be too unsanitary due to the bits of hair everywhere to pull off an eating/drinking area long term. That hair is gonna find its way into the food and drink area and therefore the food and drink itself eventually. I don't mean unsanitary in a germ or mold way, because barbershops do have to be clean, just that the hair is never gonna get 100% swept up and will build up a tiny bit over time.
@@neildonkin6692 even if that were true, which it isn't, things don't work perfectly all the time. I can think of all sorts of things that would cause a system like that to not work. Especially if it were being used on dozens of people per day.
As someone who's had father issues his whole life and now is 29. This kid is blessed beyond belief to even have such an option with such a caring a wise man. I had to teach myself everything a man is supposed to teach you
For one he only has a couple kids. Second, he is divorced. His wife is living off his money and so she can be there to take care of the kids fully. Shaq is possibly one of the most busiest people in the world. You regular ass folks need to stop comparing your average life to somebody this high up.
@@Editionsz bro are you slow? I didn't have to look this up, it's common knowledge and obvious shit. The original commenter joke falls flat on its ass considering Shaq only has 6 kids and only 4 are biological. Saying "let" one come stay with you, of course what else is Shaq going to say? The kids stay with their mom, not him. The guy is a very busy man and is always on a plane somewhere. The joke sucks because it's stupid.
Wow, that's kinda sad, what if the other children also want to spend time with their dad but they aren't interested in basketball? I hope they're okay.
I know what i am talking about. Says the man who showed up drunk. Shaq is a genetic monster, nothing else, you take his massive body away and he's not even an athlete.
Which mean he has the greatest advice to give him. Shaq knows what lazy work ethic can lead to because he’s a prime example of it. His knowledge and experience can lead his son down the right path and to continue working hard.
DR. O'Neill is the real deal..a great father with personality, down to earth human, one in a million. ( I'm his biggest fan) I wish to meet you one day, Doc. GOD 🙏 bless ..
👑One thing ima always remember even with im dead in the grave mannnnnn shaq supporting and building with his boy's and most importantly his teaching them how to be leaders not followers smh some father's in life will pray on their sons downfall in leave them in the world to the wolves to get ate like sleeping sheep's👑
Props to Shaqir for having the drive to be the best player in thr country but also the humility to ask his father, one of the GOATS, for training and advice. Props to Shaq too for being an involved father. A lot of children of former athletes don't live up to the hype probably because of lack of guidance from their athlete parents.
Hey Doc! My son is 12 and he wants to go to the NBA. I don’t know how to get him there but I believe in him. With that being said, I am setting up boxing lessons for him because the footwork resembles basketball to me. Hopefully this will help him.
