In case anyone wants to know: Affirm relaxers box come with only the relaxers (step 2) and the liquid activator, a little measuring cup for the activator and a stick. But you also need to buy separately step 1, step 3 and step 4. The first product Andree held up was the affirm gentle assurance (step 1). Step 3 is the 5-in-1 reconstructor, and step 4 is the normalising shampoo. I love Avlon (manufacturers of Affirm and keracare products)
It’s a shame they do but I also understand they are exclusive to salons. I find it extremely wild that some shops sell them like this because you can’t always measure the activator correctly
These tips came right time!!!! The tip about asking your hairdressers is good, but mine wont release any info 🤫 (they use avlon btw which is hard for me to find). Thinking of trying the ORS LYE relaxing system but not sure 🤔 Hun we would really appreciate if you could mention some relaxers for us at home to until lockdown is over 😘
Also, I’ve bought the affirm relaxer and all the other steps, can’t wait to relax my hair already! I’d seriously pay you to do it for me if I could hah!
I love my salon relaxer results however I'll never go again as my scalp starts burning when the relaxer time is not even complete. The lye relaxers might be too strong for my scalp.
