It was made specifically for the Halo Wars 2 trailer. Meaning it only exists within that trailer hence why even here it has the gunshots from the trailer
Lyrics: I know you We’ve been here before No surprises A settled score I know the darkness From inside Reckless rage And poisoned pride I know the weakness I know the pain I know the fear We do not name And the who comes to find me When my time is through I know you Yeah I know you
"I know the weakness, I know the pain. I know the fear, We do not make." These are my favourite lines. The singer puts so much emotion in them, they give me chills...
@@darkoss551 "The fear we do not make" and "The fear we do not name" could refer to either death or the flood. I prefer "The fear we do not name" because both have had more connections to the concept of death rather than the flood up until when the song takes place.
@@TheValorous yeah it’s too bad, but you can download the video in the description and upload it to a personal Spotify playlist. it works pretty well for me!
They literally just released the unaltered song on the halo channel last week, here you go. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-yRECFDcwbuc.html&ab_channel=HALO
You dont know how true youre words are video games connect to the player games you finish are part of you so hearing their songs just makes you feel so connected unlike these songs where a singer comes sings about his lover yea sometimes its great but not all the time
My feelings and meanings of this song are as follows with the lyrics I know you ( Captain Cutter knows Atriox and sees him as his enemy) We've been here before ( He and Atriox both have a plan on how they operate and how to defeat the other) No surprises ( They have both seen what both are capable of) To settle the score ( They both want to finish this and avenge their fallen) I know the Darkness, from Inside ( They both have lived hard lives and both have done things they are not proud of and they feel it everyday inside of them) Reckless Rage and Poisoned Pride ( They both act out and can't accept peace as an option under any circumstances and will keep to their sides of the war and continue Until the last man standing) I know the Weakness ( They both have had times where they could not do what they were supposed to do, in result many may have died because of their single actions) I know the Pain ( They have lost ones close to them very much because of them, brothers in arms, family, and friends.) I know the Fear, we do NOT name ( The thing they do not dare name very well be the FLOOD but alternatively it could be them knowing someone has to lose at the end and they fear it may be them) And the one who comes to find Me ( They know afterwards peace will never last and someone will come to kill them) When my time is Through ( When they are old whoever wins will most likely be weakened and an easy target) I know you, yeah I know you. ( But they expect this so they know exactly who they are sent from or at least trying to avenge) Lyrics Continued (1:43) I know you We've been here before No Surprises To Settle the Score I know the Darkness, from Inside Reckless Rage And Poisoned Pride I know the Weakness I know the Pain I know the Fear WE DO NOT NAME And the One who comes to Find Me When my time is Through I know you, yeah I know You I know the weakness... I know the pain.... I know the fear We do Not Name... And the one who comes to find me... When my time is through... I know you, yeah I know you. Thank you all for reading let me know if you feel similar to my edit and if not what you would change to it! Have a great one And I know You
This song fits perfectly for knowing your enemy. I am glad now when I hear it, all that comes to mind is Capt. Cutter vs Atriox and their armies fighting each other. Then, boom! ODST hell jumps into the battle with Spartans ahead of them.

Had Halo Wars 2 ended with the destruction of the Spirit of Fire, this song would have been playing. The original Ensemble developers were going to make a campaign based on the Brute Chieftain, and resurrect Sergeant Forge in a sequel. In the new timeline, unless they received reinforcements, I doubt they would have held their own against Atriox, given how the war went with old ships, and starting with half a crew. This song would have made their tragic end beautiful.
@@gamertater9499 It's very clear some of the noise is still in the background from the Halo Wars 2 trailer, especially in the first third of the song. He definitely had to edit it. I can't find any original versions of this song without the trailer effects in the background.
