I’m VERY honest about the fact that I was not what anyone would consider a “naturally gifted” singer at the start of my journey. I was laughed at, dismissed and flat out told to “give up” more times than I can count 🤷🏽‍♂️. I feel you. Similar story w/my singing journey. Was rejected by the music department in my college from MINORING in music. Went on to learn how to sing, get accepted to a master’s program in jazz voice, and became a professional singer and voice teacher. Those of us who struggled at first and had to learn the craft to become good singers are the best teachers, I think! 🙂🫶
